Fixcracked for Touch Screen Replacement Parts Digitizer Glass Assembly Ipad 4 + WiFi Antenna Cable and Professional Tool Kit (White)

I bought this product because my toddler broke the ipad screen. Im pretty technical and have taken apart electronics and computer since the 90s, didnt think there would be many problems. First the instructions were a bit hideous. Only showing you how to open and remove the cables. I figured it must be easy to put it all back together since there was no back together instructions. I watched some you tube videos as well to make sure I had a gasp on things. The new screen arrived. I was excited. I removed everything and connected everything back up. Was happy it turned back on and I was happy when I pressed the home button. Then I quickly realized I had no touchscreen. I trouble shooted in every way. You tube videos, searching this products reviews, and every way possible. I couldnt figure out the answer. I did read how sometimes the digitizers are just bad. So I contacted amazon and got a new one sent over. A few days later I got the new one. I hooked it up, and just like before, the touch screen didnt work. UGH! I was so frustrated!! I had hooked up the cracked screen and the touchscreen worked, so I knew it was the screen. I emailed the company and was told I had to be technical. While I am, I emailed back again and was told to use the wipes to wipe off the digitizers flex cable. Okay, theres no place anywhere that it says to do this. Not even replacement videos! I get another replacement, wiped the flex cables before installing and now everything worked! Im giving 3 stars because I have mixed feelings. Im very very happy that this product does work, and that the customer service from Amazon and Fixcracked was wonderful. I am very very disappointed and just shocked that a key point to wiping the flex cable is no where in the instructions. I have a toddler and it wasted so much time away from here to deal with a simple step. To say I have to be technical is kind of insulting when this step wasnt even in the instructions. In fact theres no installation instructions at all.. just how to take it apart!. At last, I hope this review helps someone who is smart enough to trouble shoot by reading reviews.

Great tools, could use tweezers. Screen and ribbons in prefect shape. Use install.

Used This Product To Replace iPad Broken Screen, After Installation Only Half Screen Works.

The iPad 4 replacement screen came with a new home button, new wifi antenna, new bezel bumper guard, adhesives, and all the tools needed. It took a while to complete the process as the broken screen had glass everywhere. Maybe 2-3 hours from start to finish. I tested the iPad screen before gluing it all back together. It was all I hoped for and if you are good with patience and attention to detail then the project wont be too hard for you. I was glad for the extras as I wasnt expecting them.

After installing this touchscreen no longer works so I don’t know if it’s a motive product of a bolt or problems with the tablet, but it was working with a cracked screen before we changed it

Excellent item works great

The product is garbage. The ribbon cable is not stiff enough to push into the connectors and the instructions say to lift the tabs, wrong. If you lift on the connector retainer it will brake and your done.

Would liked to have tried it and applied it to my iPad, however it came cracked. Highly disappointed due to it was a gift for my daughter. Threw it away and immediately purchased another one!!
