Everything was good. Had issue with iPad randomly selecting things but found that is an issue with the screen being on too tight. Just pushed all the sides to the middle like folding with a little pressure which fixed the issue. Home button gets stuck a little but that could just be an install issue where I messed.

UPDATE: we bought a second kit after learning from our mistakes the first time. However, the iPad is having the exact same touch sensitivity issues and it’s beyond frustrating. Installation was seamless and the screen worked well for 20-30 minutes. Then suddenly the touch is completely sporadic and nonresponsive. Now we’ve spent nearly as much as we would have to have it fixed right with nothing to show for it. Save your money and time- don’t get this kit! We had a really hard time putting this on even after watching multiple videos and thoroughly reading the instructions. Had to try multiple times and the screen now has issues… it senses touch that’s not there and doesn’t accurately respond to touch. Now that we understand the process we might buy it one more time and see if it works this time.

It went together really well. The touch screen is a little slower in the response then the original and the home button cant scan your finger print.

I replaced the broken screen on my son’s ipad and it was so easy to do. The price paid was low and the product quality is great. I had taken other ipad screens to be replaced and got charged over $100 dollars to get it done. With this product it was so easy and cheap to do it.

Bought, worked great, used it for a couple days, first time taking it from my home to my car, and open it up in the car to connect to my radio, and screen is cracked. Had it in a protective case, only thing I can think is the glass going from my home 70 degrees, to outside 32 degrees caused it, very thin glass, and obviously not good quality as the glass should easily be able to withstand temperature changes.

The glass is thicker than the original one it’s have good adhesive and all the tools good kit

Worked fine for about 2.5 months. Then random areas stopped responding to touch. Today it has completely stopped responding to touch. It was great for the price, but it needs to last longer than a few months.

Touch screen did not work.

Minus the engineering from apple this was simple!

This worked well and saved a bundle on replacing my Ipad screen. No issues at all.
