Fixodent Ultra Max Hold Denture Adhesive, 2.2 Oz (Pack of 2)

In every tube there is an air bubble that accounts for about one fifth of the overall quantity. Intentional? Hard to say but every tube has this gap in the liquid adhesive.

This is the strongest dental adhesive Ive ever used. Its almost too strong and you only need a tiny amount so should last longer than any other Ive used.

This is a fine fixative for your dentures. For reference, Im a young lady (56), who lost most of her teeth in a horrible accident. So I have full dentures with only a little bit of the denture cut out for the remaining teeth (7 of them). So I need really good adhesion. Im quite active. And before my marriage, dated w/dentures, which is a unique experience, for sure! To encourage those of you who may be new to dentures, I dated and kissed several men in a couple of years of dating, and none of them ever knew unless I told them about it later. I found a husband, and he doesnt mind them. Life goes on. Anyway, back to fixodent Ultra Max. It is, I strongly believe, the EXACT SAME FORMULATION as the regular fixodent. What they have done over at the Fixodent factory, is to put it in a tube with a bigger spout on the end, so that you put TWICE as much product on your dentures! Not what I want~! Id MUCH rather have regular Fixodent with the tiny tip applicator. Then, if I want to put on twice as much product, I can just keep squeezing the thin strip exactly where I need it. But see, my lower denture, because I have tiny jaws, has a very small gum groove to place the adhesive. And the Ultra Max in this tube extrudes a strip of adhesive that is wider than my actual gum groove! Not Good! A ripoff, because it costs more, and forces me to waste product and wipe it off and throw it away. So, I will never buy it again. Actually I would return this for refund if this wasnt the time of Corona, with delays on everything and shortages. On the other hand, regular Fixodent is an excellent product and better value.

Im surprised as a new dentures user that this works to well. I have 4 implants that failed and these dentures are great

I can count on the grip this paste provides, and wish I could add it to my subscription products, but, for some reason, that option hasnt been offered to me. I did read reviews before buying, and was tickled to see I had the same problem as a customer before me. The dispensing tip of one of the tubes got all stuck up! Good as the product is (holds tight, doesnt taste bad, doesnt leave a web of pasty strings swirling around inside your mouth for all the world to see as you speak or have coffee in public first thing in your day!), its got to come out of the tube to work. The other customer said to cut off that tip. I did. THAT WORKED! I get more than enough coming out for me, now. Its great, and, even if I err on the too much product side, this dries in time for me to rinse with water or mouthwash to keep from looking like that person all of us has seen struggling with a pasty mess in the mouth!!
