> 24 hourThe ceiling brackets are great as they are long to allow for attachment to studs easier. Love the white vs others in black or dark gray. I was also able to eliminate the second extension bar to keep it from dropping too low (we are on a slab & ceiling height is only 9-feet).

> 24 hourIt was fairly easy to assemble. I did it by myself in about 3 hours. Definitely would be easier with 2 people. Im happy with the product and would buy it again.

> 24 hourPlaced two of the 3x6 racks in my garage and they provide so much storage. I can even use hooks to hang items on the bottom side of the racks. customer Service was outstanding!

> 24 hourAdded the 6 x 4 shelf to the 8 x 4 in the garage. Since I was already familiar with the directions I was able to put up this Shelf in about 30 minutes. I had marked where the studs were and knew where to drill prior to the Shelf arriving. Was able to do the 6x4 by myself whereas the 8x4 I needed help attaching it to the ceiling. All in all great quality. I couldnt be happier.

> 24 hourWhen I first received this item (72 x 36), it was very well packaged and arrived quickly. Upon unpacking, I inspected the weld points and 2 of the 3 racks had bad corner welds that could have been unsafe to use. After contacting customer service about this, they responded quickly and shipped out 2 replacement racks with good welds. As far as the install, I have no experience with mounting and properly making measurements so it was a frustrating process with no fault on the provided instructions. I ended up buying a stud finder and laser level which helped a whole lot and I highly recommend. The stud finder detected electrical wires that I would have otherwise drilled into. The laser allows you to easily align the ceiling brackets. I think if I was able to do it, anyone else can as well.

> 24 hourI dont write many product review, but my experience with this product deserved to be mentioned. I purchased 4 - 3x6 (GR36) storage racks to help organize my garage. One of the four units was missing some parts when I received it. Thankfully, the packages included a card with a telephone number. I called the number and was pleasantly surprised that an actual human answered the phone. The representative I spoke to was able to look up my order, talk through the parts list in the manual with me, and send the missing parts there on the spot. I am a very experienced DIYer. I considered building sort of equivalent shelves myself, but when I added up all the material costs and factored in the looks, construction time, and engineering it made sense to just buy them. The shelves appear well built and durable. The instructions were clear and well written. I was actually able to have my 15 year old son assemble most every thing while I worked on laying things out and mounting the shelves. Quick tips: One thing that is not mentioned in the instructions is the need for a level. It might not matter to everyone, but it is important to me for these things to be flat, level, and plumb. There isnt a whole lot of room for adjustment if you are using all 4 ceiling brackets, but in my installation at least 2 corners on each shelf are being attached to the wall using lag screws. I used my 4 level to find the lowest corner and mounted that support bracket first. I then installed the second bracket across the short side. Once that was in place, I set the shelf on that one side of brackets, held it level and marked a line for the bottom of the 3rd corner support. One last tip. The threaded holes on the shelf are TIGHT. I ended up using a well fitting torx head bit in my impact driver on low speed to install the screws into the shelf. You will definitely want to use a quality Allen wrench at the very least.

> 24 hourThis is the 2nd garage rack i put up myself with minimal help. First was a new age. Superficially they resemble each other but i think the fleximount is much better and easier to put up even if it costs a few dollars more. The brackets on fleximount are large and can span two joists. The key to putting these racks is getting the lag screws into studs. Its quite difficult finding studs while perched on a ladder. I bought 3 different stud finders including some expensive ones like franklin one. But none are perfect. Maybe best is the cheap magnet one. If you miss the stud you can move over a hole on fleximount and you can try it again. On a small bracket you have to move everything and pray youre going to get lucky. Spacing out the brackets 4 feet apart isnt too bad but if you mismeasure, you can adjust the vertical hanging bracket without moving the ceiling mount. Just move the vertical bracket over one or two holes and youll be fine. You still have to space the other brackets 6 feet away or 8 feet away depending on your rack. That isnt easiest measuring a distance on the ceiling. But at least you can get the width done without too much trial and error. I have two criticisms. The instructions are too basic. One key point is getting the hanging vertical bracket that the rack fits into properly oriented. There is a bottom piece of the vertical hanging bracket that the rack fits into, You need to pay attention to the small diagram to get the orientation right or the rack wont fit. They should magnify that diagram. The rack itself is 3 or 4 sections screwed together which means you put it down as one large piece but it is too heavy for one person at that point. You will need two people to lift and fit the rack on to he hanging bracket while climbing two ladders simultaneously. At least thats what i did. Other brand designs would allow you to put one section at a time so theoretically you could do it yourself. All in all i did this fleximount rack in 1/4 amount of time that i spent on a new age rack. I recommend this model even though you can find a cheaper brand. The hardware included was sturdy. Instructions were marginal. If youre nervous about trying to install yourself get the smaller 4x 6 feet model since its more forgiving in terms of measurement.

> 24 hourThe Fleximount 3x6 was the perfect size for my garage where I’ve used a lot of my perimeter real estate already. Once installed, it feels sturdy and after 2 weeks or so, it is holding up. I can’t speak entirely to longevity but will update later as necessary. When assembling, it looks suspect with its thin rails but once installed, looks are deceiving and it is a rather robust hanging storage rack. The instructions are not great and this was my first time installing one, so with planning and running into a few measuring issues (unique to trying to find the most optimal place in my garage), it did take me about 3 hours to get it hung up. I used it to get my tools out of the way. As you can see in the pic, I have quite a few things up there. Granted, I probably have not optimized my item placement and yet there is still more room to boot. This isn’t a fancy garage storage rack but I certainly recommend it as I think it has good value and it is has proven to hold up these last couple weeks!

> 24 hourVery sturdy. Easy to put up. However, not all of the screw holes line up well. some are offset and I cannot thread them through the holes. Had to use zip ties instead which will work just fine in a pinch
