> 3 dayAs long as Ive had my own place, Ive always used some type of terry cloth towel in the kitchen. After my last batch of towels started falling apart (quicker than I felt they should have) I decided to give these flour sack towels a try. They are fantastic! Even though its clear from the description that they are 27x27, it didnt even occur to me that this meant that they are just over 2 feet square! The size is fantastic! The cloth has a very tight weave which makes the towels feel pretty robust and they are more absorbent than any terry cloth towels Ive ever had.

> 3 dayThese are wonderful tea towels. They did not shrink when washed and dried on medium, but they were in need of ironing; hems are well stitched; stayed square. I know this is important to some using these for crafts. But contrary to the description these are not soft. They have a terrific weight to them and are well made, will hold up to years of use. Several years ago I bough a couple of packages of Mainstay (WalMart) tea towels. They were so buttery soft. I would wrap fresh bread to give to friends. I had many requests as to where I purchased the towels. I am now trying to find the same softness and hand of those. These are not them. These are great but not soft.

> 3 dayThese towels are a kitchen necessity…. Use them for multiple uses! They wash beautiful and are thicker than flour sack towels from competitors.

> 3 dayThe picture shows them folded, so I expected a normal tea towel rectangle size. These are actually extra large and square. They do their job.

> 3 dayI thought these were a little pricey but I got them anyway . I love them. they are on the thicker side (not like a true flour sack) but are descent quality and color has held up well (10 months) . Absorbability is quite good.

> 3 dayThe ad says these are soft but they are pretty rough, even after laundering twice.... Please take soft out of the ad. Also, they dry pretty well. I had some before that were softer, thinner and dried Very well. Hope Ill be ok with these.... The ad was misleading. Why cant you use real soft cotton?? I like the color option, navy.
