In my class ranging ages 2.5-6 years the children had a great time creating their garden. They especially like the insects and watering can. The plastic is light weight compared to other brands, but that did not take away from the colors and the enjoyment the children had working creating their gardens.

Purchased for my granddaughters 3rd birthday. She began to play with them once all gifts were opened. Spent a good 1/2 hour putting together the flowers. Enjoyed placing bugs onto the flowers. We opened the accessory flash cards and she did the bug matching one. She liked the idea of watering the flowers. I was impressed by the variety of flower shapes included in the set. Like others have stated the number of these kits on Amazon were overwhelming. I primarily purchased this set because the colors were vivid and it appeared there were more flower shapes in the kit. I was also convinced because of the accessory flash cards. One thing I think is missing from this set is the ability to make a hand held bouquet of flowers. See my last photo. I think this additional configuration would be great for younger girls pretending to hold a wedding or attending a dance. I also wonder if there is a way to purchase more of the base pieces? My granddaughter completed the 4 base pieces and still had lots of flower pieces to create more.

Get this toy! Not your average building set- unique, educational and endless fun! I looked at the other sets and chose this one because for a few extra dollars, you get a complete set with 12 bases, activity cards, bugs, and attractive packaging that you can be proud to give as a gift. Also, the packaged box is great for storage- my kids can clean up by themselves as everything easily fits inside. This set keeps my kids’ attention and is calming in a way. I can’t believe just how much my kids love this toy - the concept is simple, yet genius. It’s great for dexterity, spatial awareness and STEM. We just adore this toy. I’m so happy I got it!

My kids have gone crazy over this toy! My 18-month-old just likes to build whatever she wants but my 3 1/2-year-old is starting to get into the cards that come with it to identify pieces by their shape and then put them together based on the picture. Definitely a winner!

My grandson, who is two, loves looking at flowers. I can’t wait to give him this for Christmas, very cute toy.

I absolutely adore this toy! I am a pre-K teacher and mom of three. I couldnt love this toy more! My three boys (ages 2-7) have found hours of open-ended fun. I have played with similar sets of build-a-garden toys and they a.) dont come with bugs and a watering can b.) break very easily. This kit includes TONS of pieces for endless fun, activity cards to extend play, and super fun, adorable bugs! All three of my kids absolutely love it and I am sure it will be a hit when I bring it to school for my students as well!

I purchased this garden item for my great-granddaughter’s 4th birthday. It was a HUGE hit. She AND her 7 year old brother played with it all afternoon. So much fun! Great quality. Thank you Tina’s Toy Company for making such a great learning toy!

As a preschool teacher and homeschool parent I would give this product two thumbs up :) The bright flowers are sturdy, with no strong chemical smell and there are enough to share with multiple children of different age groups. The cards are a great bonus and learning tool! They give real fun facts about the cute bugs included, discuss flower facts and even includes a ruler to measure the “growth” of the flowers.

There are multiple options similar to this set, but this one stood out to me because of the activity cards and the extra bugs! It came today and my 5 year old has been playing with it non stop! She loves it! The quality is great, all pieces seem very sturdy. The lack of a carrying case was a deterrent for me, but the box that it comes in (although cardboard) holds everything quite nicely and will work great for storing.
