Its a decent tester, but not as good as the 1st gen one. It uses up batteries faster, and gives more false readings.

Very good to detect there voltage but doesn’t give you notifications of beeping.

Got this for checking AC circuits in our server room at work, and for times when we run a portable generator. It is super simple to use, and just works. The tip will insert into a standard 5-15 outlet or larger. It will also detect voltages along a cord.

Works very well, which is expected from a good brand such as Fluke.

Functioned well, but stopped working after 3 or 4 years. I probably only used it 5-10 times in that span. Changed batteries regularly. Im assuming this isnt normal, since I have generally had good results with Fluke products.

Im embarrassed that it took me this long to get one of these.

Just the right sensitivity for finding the hot wire in tight spaces. (You might want a second more sensitive or adjustable unit to wave at a box for checking whether its on or not.)
