Expensive but clearly good quality. Im happy I have them.

After two years, Ive found few circuits that couldnt be easily, quickly and securely accessed with just the components in this set. The exception was larger contacts in old equipment, which were easily addressed by adding these:

I like this set because it contains several items which are especially handy for probing and measuring on PCBs with leads that are 0.1 pitch and smaller. The 0.025 socket connections are great for connecting to a ground pin on a connector. The small-size probes with the interchangeable fine tips make it less likely that Ill short two pins together. Ive added some pictures to illustrate the included items. Also added photos to the TL81A listing: that one is a nice kit, but not optimized for smaller electronics, like this TLK287 kit is.

These needle probes are a must have for electronic or appliance repair. Once you try them youll wonder how you ever lived without them.

A must have for anyone needing a test lead set, probably more than most would use on a regular basis. But none the less a great set.

Awesome test leads

I purchased these as an upgrade to the ones my Fluke meter came with. Ive been happy with them and would recommend them.

I find Fluke multimeter probes to be far and away the best available. This set has a nice variety connectors and accessories that I find incredibly useful. Parts I find most useful: The TL71 test probes are my favorites, I keep a few sets at the bench to use with the various accessories in the kit. I like the shielded IC probes that slip over the ends of the TL71 probes. I keep those on a set of probes constantly. The two sets of modular clips (one has a J hook, one is more of a claw) are also very useful. I like the J hook type quite a bit and keep those connected to the TL224 modular cables. The bare lugs are good for use with binding posts. Parts I dont care for: The modular test probes. The TL71 probes are rated CAT IV 600 volts. The modular probes are only CAT II. I really dont use them. The modular alligator clips that fit on the end of a test probe, the total assembly is long and bulky. I like the other alligators better, that have a banana connector at the end. They make for a more compact assembly and dont put as much strain on the item you are testing. Even though there are some parts I dont use, I still rate the set 5 stars because others may find those parts to be useful. It really depends on their tasks and the way they work. Variety is good.
