We use this in our Fluval U2 Filter for our turtle. In combination with the other filter refills, it keeps the turtle clean nice for an extended period of time.

My fluval filter came with a spot for this stuff. So I replaced it with this product. I am using the filter for a shallow water turtle tank. It is causing so much ugly calcium build up on the glass of the tank, therefore, double the work to clean. I have stopped using the biomax from here on out.
