Fly Guard Fine Mesh Horse Fly Mask with Ears (Black, Full)

Very Durable so far after four weeks. No rips, holes etc. Also the horse does not seem to want to rub it off as with others tried.

Pokes into my horses eyes. And I have 3 quarter horses varying in size and its way too large for all of them. Extra velcro hanging off, no way these are going to stay on

Works well on my slight Arab (cob) and monster of a TB (horse). I also think the straps give some leeway on sizing. My Arab has a leaky left eye, so I clean it weekly, and it dries overnight hanging on her stall. There’s fleece where it makes contact with skin, and neither of them has had any rubs (they also only wear it for 7 hours max). Said monster plays hard with a friend and has had 3 in 2 years…but still worth it to replace for the money and how well it works! Also nice to use when treating the eyes for injuries because the fine mesh keep out almost everything even if they roll in sand (at his experience is also with the monster who has had 5 eye injuries in 3 years with no ill effect after prompt treatment and protection with a mask for 3-5 days).

There nothing to dislike about this fly mask.

This is the best fly mask I have ever bought. I went through about 4 other masks that did not hold up. My horses try to take each others masks off, resulting in tears and rips because of the flimsy materials and lightweight single-strap velcro. The Shires masks are heavy duty and with 2 quality velcro straps they do not come undone.

This mask has been excellent for my paint mare who has a slight tendency to rub off and destroy her fly masks... So far, it has stayed on for a week solid and is all in one piece. She seems pretty content with the fit, very roomy around the eyes so no rubbing issues there. I ordered the full size and the Velcro is a little long, but didnt want to compromise the fit of the rest of the mask. Very great quality, likely to purchase another of this mask in the future.

Comfortable padding. Strong Velcro. Stiff mesh stays well away from eyes.

Its a nice mask but my horse gets it off all the time. Defeats the purpose of protecting his ears

Purchased Cobb size for my quarter horse that has mor if an Arab sized head. Fits great and stays on. The screen part is well made and a little more rigid than most. Wish it came in a lighter color with the summer heat.
