Folkmanis Alligator Hand Puppet

Greater than one weekThe Folkmanis Alligator is very well made and easy to manipulate. I use it during speech therapy and the little ones love it. It is soft except for the plastic teeth but they are not sharp.

> 3 dayAll the Folkmanis puppets we have so far are attractive and lifelike. This one is no exception. Love the realistic fabric skin.

> 3 dayWe also bought this puppet for my sons Christmas present last year as a companion to the classic story Theres an Alligator Under My Bed, and he absolutely loves both. At the price it is a good buy, and nearing a year later is still one of our favorites to play with and has taken a lot of wear and tear.

> 3 dayThis little guy is a pretty awesome puppet. He is my office watch dog. So far no more pens have disappeared from my office One note if he places with little ones his teeth are a little pokey - he is an alligator after all

> 3 dayThe sewing for the mouth of this puppet was poorly done and made it crooked. Otherwise, the puppet was well-constructed.

Greater than one weekOne of our 4-year-old sons favorite new toys. The croc is super plush and well made, and easy to maneuver as a puppet. The teeth are a quality plastic/resin -- not comfy when our son makes his croc bite us, but pretty cool!

> 3 dayThis is my favorite storytime puppet! Ive had him for years, and he still looks great. This is after scores of children have pulled on his tail, twisted his teeth, poked his eyes, and done any number of things to the poor guy. Folkmanis is by far the leader in making puppets that last, and this guy is a great example. The hole to operate those huge gator jaws is big, so even someone with large hands will have no trouble. The teeth are plastic, and are always the subject of intense scrutiny from the storytime kids. Hes pretty soft and squishy, which is important for such a villainous character. Even gators need to show their softer side! There are plenty of opportunities for pretend play. I couldnt imagine doing Five little monkeys swingin in the tree without this guy. A great choice for any puppet collection.
