Greater than one weekI love this mineral oil for my wooden cutting board. I recently switched to a bamboo cutting board that needed treatment. This oil was perfect. I used a stiff-ish paintbrush to add the oil to the board. It soaked in nicely and wiped off well. No smell at all. Two thumbs up!

10-06-2025The only thing that kept me from making this a 5 star review was that I was using the oil to season a new butcher block cutting board. A friend who makes them, says that the oil should be a little thicker so that it doesnt evaporate while soaking in. So it took me more than the recommended three applications to properly season the board.

Greater than one weekIve used this on my bamboo cutting boards, and some wood handled kitchen utensils. It goes on easily and wipes off clean. I also used it to seal in a Wyrmwood dice box I was given for Dungeons and Dragons play. The customer service said that occasionally white crystals similar to powdered salt may appear on the grain, so to seal it with Mineral Oil. Took a bit of buffing but got the job done and am satisfied with the results. No slimy feel or residue after youve let it set into the wood then buffed it off with a clean cloth, folding to another clean face after every few wipes until you have a dry rag. DO recommend!
