I have older versions that are a thinner plastic that were deteriorating. I saw these at 4mil and thought they are what I need and will last a long time. I use them for various things like my seed storage. They took a while to get here, but just what I wanted and I know they will last for many years.

I like the 4mm thickness for durability and ease of opening.

These little bags are thick, and worked wonderful to hold glitters and tiny beads for crafting. They come in a plastic box to store them in, reminiscent of a dvd case. The bags are a little difficult to open, but they seal really well and work as intended.

Find a source that supplies you with the proper gauge-grade bags you need and pay the extra few bucks for consistency from said source. It is worth your time browsing and shopping for these for the lowest price, youll will be surely disappointed.
