Did not work for me. Had to buy a new iPad.

Ive replaced my kids iPad screens a lot and this is the best one Ive tried on Amazon. The other ones Ive tried with one drop they are done then its back to changing screens. So far this one is holding up. The glue is holding very good as well. I love that you can choose between the white or black screen.

I cant say enough good things about this kit- first, the tools are first rate. No, you cant open a repair business and use them over and over but for a one-time kit, they are surprisingly well-built and everything you need. Second, the part itself works great but, even better, all the stickers are already on it- and the home button as well (use your old home button, if you can, so you dont lose the functionality. A little advice- youre going to need to remove the inside plastic film before assembly (and the big cushion attached to it to protect the cables). Youre also going to need to carefully remove the backing on the adhesive strips but dont do this before a test fit and power check. Practice how to get the digitizer and button cables inside the frame of the ipad before its all a sticky mess. Finally, go slow putting it together- getting the backing off near the digitizer cable and getting the cables all nicely tucked into the ipad case is not easy. And, of course, getting your old digitizer off was Im sure an awful experience (it was for me, thats why I bought a new digitizer). Go to ifixit for all the steps!

I’ve replaced several screens in the past. Lately I used 3 different brands and all had problems. the touch screen not fully functional, ribbon pulled out, crappy Adhesive. This brand was perfect. By far the best one out there

First thing be advised that this is just a screen replacement kit. This comes with the screen and the tools needed to do the replacement. This DOES NOT come with instructions!!! So you either have to know how to do the replacement or like myself watch a couple of YouTube videos that takes you step by step. This was the first time I have ever replaced the screen on anything With that being said I found that this kit came with everything I did need minus a heat gun BUT my hair dryer on the highest settings did the trick… but the product is great it is working like a charm. Delivery was super fast it was supposed to be here on the 4th but got here on the 2nd. If you need to replace a screen for a iPad 5th generation this is the one you want great quality !!!

I maybe should have removed the old tape that holds it in place, the screen tends to pop out a bit along one edge, but that’s on me.

Replaced the screen and it looks good as new! Feels great , very responsive to touch. The only issue is the home button cannot do finger recognition.. which I knew before purchasing!

No instructions were provided. On the photos of the product, it says to check on YouTube. No link is given. There are MULTIPLE videos on installation, none of them matching this product. Very difficult to figure it all out and then it turned out Id ordered for the wrong model, so have to buy another one anyway!
