for iPad 6 (6th Gen 2018) A1893 A1954 Screen Replacement Glass Touch Digitizer Repair Kit with Home Button & Tools - Only for iPad 6 6th Generation (Black)

The screen is definitely receiving signal and the top and bottom work just fine when moving things around. However, the center of the screen doesnt work at all and tapping in that area will give zero results. The keyboard is also very patchy and only some letters work. Id say about 1/4th of the keyboard works, mostly the keys on the right side. Instructions were very simple and didnt cover everything, like where exactly to plug the home button into. The suction cup also doesnt work, but thats not a huge issue since the iPad itself opens up without much effort. The home button works beautifully. The new screen wont close properly on the right side where most of the wires connect. There is thick plastic that Im sure is meant to slide in somewhere, but does not fit properly and the instructions dont explain how to make this fit. Adhesive is pretty poor. Thats not necessarily a bad thing for me because that means I can purchase another screen from someone else and give it another go. Im fairly certain my issues are from the product being poor so Im still optimistic about replacing the screen.

I love it! The first time I ever changed my own screen, my other was broken and I couldnt use parts of this screen so this is a blessing to have my iPad fixed.

The digitizer received with this purchase was defective. Could not access numbers 1 through 6 or the first two rows. I am considering getting a new screen from a different provider to ensure higher quality and better service.

The touch screen didn’t work. The top half of the screen had no response and the bottom wasn’t calibrated correctly. Missed my return window. Defective.

Had to order a replacement as the first one I got did not fully work, but the replacement screen that I got worked perfectly well and I am fully satisfied!

Its a little tricky but if you watch youtube videos first on how to do it, its do able :)

Adhesive didn’t stick and home button worked intermittently. Save your $30 and get the $50 Repair Parts Plus kit which is much better quality.

The home bottom doesnt work

Everything worked as should didn’t need any others tools and got the job done!!
