No idea why the OEM power cord went bad. I tired every troubleshooting option I could think of. The TV worked one minute and then when I moved it to a new location it wouldnt power up. I thought Id try a new power cord. As a last attempt I figured I try a new power cord. That was the problem. The new cord worked liked a charm...TV saved!
