Great read! Just a lot of fun. The story is interesting and quickly hooks you. The author does a great job creating a fascinating mystery with very compelling characters. Looking forward to the next book in what I hope is a long series. A must read.

Rarely does a new author create characters, mystery, and hilarity with such finesse as Ian has accomplished. When my husband and I finished reading this book, we found ourselves yearning for more Denton Rourke mysteries. Although Ian has created a unique style all his own, if you like Stephanie Plum (Janet Evanovich) novels or the TV show Castle, this book should be on your to read list. Put your troubles aside, read this book, and get lost in a world of crime and comedy!

I had the pleasure of reading this awesome book - and I couldnt put it down. It really is an amazing piece of work. Funny, heartfelt, witty and very creative. I dont know how Ian comes up with his ideas - but I can tell you I am anticipating the sequels. Buy it now - you wont be disappointed!!! Two thumbs up from me! Great job!

Great read!! I found it to be a classic whodunit story with an EXTREMELY creative and witty delivery. Its hard-boiled-noir in parts, gruesome and bloody in other parts, and side splittingly HILARIOUS throughout. Its a true page-turner in every sense. Im looking forward to more Denton Rourke capers!

I couldnt put this book down.....others would have stolen it and they should buy their own and make the author the millionaire he deserves to be. Beautifully crafted, creative, entertaining, funny, witty, intelligent....and that is just the cover. The book itself is a masterpiece.

I am so pleased that I happened to find this book! I read a lot and sometimes, I want a book that has substance, but is light and fun and hard to put down. I found For Whom the Curtain Calls to be just such a book! Super characters...well-defined and interesting. A plot that has more twists than a plate of spaghetti. Quirky turns and laugh out loud moments....a wonderful surprise of a thrill ride. All the way through, youll wonder who-did-it? and youll just love the way it resolves itself. I wish this author had more books to read now, but for now Ill be waiting and hoping. I am sure youll love it!

Ian does a great job introducing characters, keeping up the suspense and adding humor. I read this book very quickly, as it was an easy read that was very entertaining. I started the 2nd book- The Dead Man and the CEO right away and loved that too. I cant wait to read the 3rd book....hurry up Ian!!

The well written characters, fast paced dialogue and hilarious situations (Ive never rooted for an ostrich before) made this a book I couldnt put down. Its a fantastic murder mystery with wonderfully humorous twists. Ian ORegan has written a smart, witty, charming, laugh out loud book. I cant wait for the next one!

Good read! I found this book entertaining and funny. I enjoyed the mystery and that it wasnt glaringly obvious like some mysteries can be. Looking forward to reading more from this author.

I must admit, I was skeptical when I started reading a book listed as a comedic mystery, but I was very pleasantly surprised to find that this book is actually good! There is a great deal of humor, but not corny, as I had expected, and it does not diminish the excitement of the mystery in the least. The storyline is not predictable, the characters are well developed, and in short, this book is a GREAT READ! I do suspect, though, that if Denton Rourke were in a fantasy football league, his team would undoubtedly be terrible...
