Worked perfect on my 93 f150

This is a great replacement for a broken part.

Old rests were toast and missing their caps. A pair of these and the hood doesnt slam any more. Money well spent.

I own a 1997 Ford F-150 XLT. I crossed checked the part number with a FORD OEM site and it is the correct part for the purpose. It replaced the original on the left front side of the hood that had broken off during a failed attempt to adjust it in spite of a rusted screw shaft. The new unit fits the keyed hole perfectly and adjusts up and down as it is designed to. It is a humble part with a simple function. It works as designed. Thats fine with me.
