Greater than one weekI purchased 2 for my project of repainting a rusty 6 mower deck and some other mower parts but the first one is still going strong. Running on a DeWalt D28115 grinder that runs at 9,000 RPM.

> 3 dayI recently used up my Forney wire cup, and just bought another. I dont normally leave reviews until Ive used a product, and often then I forget. However since I ordered another, I will say that service life was good. Reasonably aggressive (expected from a twisted wire wheel), but the real reason I am buying another is because it didnt lose bristles. The bristles actually wore down to nubs at the end without shedding any. Stiffness of the bristles was also good, the cup didnt flare out too much, and cut consistently with pressure. Quite pleased with the service, life, and quality of this one. For tough rust removal, or lots of mill scale, I would go with a flap disc, but this is exactly what I would want from a wire cup. Attached photo shows how the bristles wore.

> 3 dayworks better than vinegar baths and paint strippers at removing rust and paint. wear a mask and heavy duty gloves.

> 3 dayIts a wire wheel and itll do its job. I used it for about 15 minutes and it started throwing wires out. Thats why I only give it 3 stars. Still, for $4 im not going to complain much. I wouldnt pay much more than that though.

> 3 dayIts a good wife cup brush for its price. I use it quite often & the twisted wires dont break off & fly everywhere like some other cheap wire cup brushes do. Ill definitely purchase again.

> 3 dayI was stripping paint from a large metal surface and went through several wire brushes from Dewalt and Forney. The main between the two is that you can afford two of these for the price of one Dewalt. The Dewalt wire brush lasted a little longer before its performance noticeably dropped, but for more than twice the price, Id rather switch out the wire brush when it starts to dull or gets clogged up.

Greater than one weekThis appears to be another high quality product from Forney. I seldom pay attention to negative reports on these types of items, as users often manhandle or abuse the product. Ive had no difficulties stripping paint and under coating from the undercarriage of my car. The tool works exactly as designed.
