Fox Outdoor Products Canvas Gear Bag

I like the size of this bag. Bought it for my 8 man tent. Fits easily. One thing I was puzzled about, it was not made with a brass zipper.

brought this for my daughter going back and forth with college. Great bag, nice and strong, good size. Very well made

This duffle bag is great quality, very sturdy, and protects the contents perfectly. Im also thrilled at its reasonable price. Why didnt I get this sooner?

It’s a big black bag. It works. A week’s clothing and a pillow fill it up nicely.

When I was thinking about getting this, the biggest question I had was how good the zipper is, since thats the part thats most likely to fail. Well, its extremely solid. I just received this, so I dont have war stories about it, but I know gear - and the quality of this bag is remarkable - especially for the price. I dont write a lot of reviews.

Replacing an old beat up travel bag with this one. Cant go wrong with military style olive drab. This should last me a long time, judging by the heavy duty canvas material and nice double stitching. Shoulder strap has just enough padding to do the job. Zippers are big and tough. Black pvc lines the bottom on the inside, so any moisture should stay out if I set the bag somewhere damp. It has one large pocket on each end and one small pocket on each side. No flaps or snaps or enclosures of any kind for the pockets though. Big enough to pack at least a weeks worth of clothes for my fishing trips.

Very durable, but larger than expected. No problem, just more room for range gear! Currently holding 5 steel targets of varying diameter and thickness and lots of other oddly shaped items for outdoor range enjoyment. Not sure the total weight of the contents, but its close to 45lbs. and this bag lugs it well! No concerns for breaking seams, handles or zipperd as its tossed around and generally abused. Already looking to buy another one to replace my old and cheap duffle bags.

This is a 12x24. Has absolutely no form. So it is very hard to pack things. It has the form as shown in the image only if you stuff it full. Otherwise it is just a sloppy piece of cloth. It also has a very strong smell that has not gone even after some 2 weeks. I still havent found a good 24 duffle bag that has a big main compartment and that has form so that it is easy to pack. Edited on Dec 22, 2017: After some 3 weeks the smell was gone. I have used it for 2 international trips in 2017 and it held up well given how luggage is abused in the airport. Yes it has no form. As you pile up things, of course it gets a form as shown in the image, My other complaint is that they could have added a longer side pocket with a zip so that I could keep dirty things like slippers. I paid some $24 with free shipping back in Dec 2016 and I guess it has served its purpose already, So changing from 1 star to 4 stars. I would get one more if it were $24 with free shipping for a 12x24. I have bought other worthless junk that are sold at exorbitant price and returned them. This one is priced ok. You can fit more things in this than a 26 suitcase as a suitcase is never square and with all that handle poking into the suitcase you cant pack well in a suitcase. I did not change my original title. No complaints about the strap as I use around the bag like a luggage strap. One trick I use to keep things inside in position is to put small things in small cardboard boxes so that they dont move. Basically making my own compartments, This has worked out very well. About the color fading one person complained: well if you expose your kitchen cabinets or patio blinds to the sun, they also fade in color. So dont expose the bag to the sun :-) Jan 2022: I thought of buying this again. But now the price is almost double the price in 2016. Yeah there is inflation and all the supply chain issues. But almost twice the price? Sorry, pices of canvas cloth stiched together should not cost that much. This is what I call as exorbitant pricing.

I keep all of my welding gear in it for work, if sparks land on it the bag doesnt burn or smoke. Its tough and cleans easily
