Bought these for my girlfriend. She liked them so much after using them on her first hike, Im probably going to get a pair for myself.

I had been using a similar pair of Foxelli poles for hiking and downhill skiing. When I fell downhill skiing and broke one of the carbon fiber poles, I thought that maybe replacing them with aluminum poles might be a better idea. Today I skied with the aluminum model for the first time and was disappointed to see that the baskets on both poles had fractured. These appear to be the same snow baskets that I had on my carbon fiber poles (which never fractured during skiing). Perhaps they are made our of a more brittle material. Based on my experience, I dont recommend using these poles for downhill skiing.

My wife and I purchased a pair of these hiking poles and we love them! They are great quality for the money.

After I found their response in my SPAM account, they were very prompt and accommodating in communicating with me to replace our 28 suitcase, which cracked on the first trip. We have used our other 24 suitcases without incident. Im hoping they continue to hold up without any more issues.

I bought these for a family ski trip where I would be snowshoeing. We had to travel on a plane and wanted something that would fit in my luggage. I did take a carry on but pretty sure these would fit because the top telescoping piece can detach to break them down even smaller. I did have a little trouble getting the snow end caps tightened on, not sure why but I eventually got them to stay securely. I don’t have very good hand strength which could explain some of my issues. I love all the different end cap options, although I anticipate usually using them bare for hiking and with the snow caps in winter. My husband and I are starting to travel and I’ve never really used poles for hiking but all my hiking friends are recommending them to me so I’m jumping on board. These are my first pair of hiking poles and I’m very pleased. And I loved all the different color options and the flexibility of height adjustments. I can see my husband and I each using one at different heights on our hikes.

Edit: got to take these bad boys out on a couple of long hikes and a weekend backpacking trip. They were awesome! My fiancé was really jealous that mine were so much nicer than his, so I bought another pair for him for Christmas! He is 190-200 lbs so I can confidently say they work well up to that weight. We’re big fans! First thing I have to mention: make sure you properly tighten the little screws at the sliding joints! Once everything is where it should be, these poles are great! I am not super heavy so I can’t speak to their ability to handle anyone over 140lbs, but they can take all of my weight leaned into them. The cork handles are very comfortable compared with others on the market. They aren’t the lightest poles out there, but for the price, you truly can’t beat it. I haven’t taken them backpacking yet, but I imagine they won’t be the straw that breaks this camel’s back in terms of weight. I love the color and style, and the little carrying case. They also included a little flashlight as a free gift- a nice touch! I’m glad to have supported a small, family-run business with this purchase- especially when the value is this great!

Poles are great. Well balanced. Easy to adjust. Love the cork grips: theyre soft with no irritation when hands are wet. Great choice of tips for winter, wet/muddy or rocky climbs. Great storage bag. I also appreciate there wasnt too much of aa factory / chemical odor. One afternoon outdoors in the sun and the odor was gone.

I purchased two sets of the Foxelli trekking poles for our upcoming hiking trip. I will be walking with them around the neighborhood to test them out prior to our hiking trip. They are easy to adjust, light weight and the cork handles are comfortable.
