Bought these for a camping trip and they were exactly what my campsite needed.

I replaced the batteries with a 3 volt transformer (wall wort) available at Amazon for $3.49. I have this on a plug that works with Alexa, so I can turn these off and on by voice control. Note that the bulbs glow through the plastic stars, so you do see the bulbs in the lit stars. And the switch on my set is touchy, it has to be wiggled just right to work. Since I wont be using it to turn the stars off and on, I wont worry about that, but I subtracted a point. Overall, Im happy. Theyre strung across the mantle on the fireplace, and add a patriotic glow. Im happy. And the lights always come on at the spot you set previously on the control, which is part of the battery pack. By adding the transformer, I dont have to fool with the switch each time I turn them on.

These were awesome to hang up on our boat and then on our tent while camping. Great little lights for the price.

Disappointed ! Your survey keep mentioning a remote control this didn’t come with a remote control or a timer switch . I’m returning the item . This was strange because most battery lights will shut off automatically .

Wish the wire was a bit longer but it worked and was perfect for our July 4th camping trip!

They’re very cute and festive. I got what I paid for.
