> 24 hourSuper easy to install with just a screwdriver. I had recently bought similar shocks for the window glass in back, so I didnt bother looking to see if directions were included, but all you have to do to remove the old strut is get a flat head screwdriver, slide it under the metal band over the old strut at each connection point (one at a time is fine), pry to lift it maybe 1/8 of an inch or so, and the strut becomes free to pop off (twisting a bit may help). Installation of this new strut is pretty much the same, but backwards: use a screwdriver to pry the metal band at the connection point up a bit, then fit it over the ball-shaped mounting point, and allow the metal band to return to its relaxed position. You may have to push it slightly to the side to seat it back in its groove if you pried it in such a way where it slipped up or down the strut a few mm. It was a perfect fit for my 2005 Jeep Liberty, and the hood feels like it did when the car was new. Way better than balancing it on my head or using the curtain rod I was carrying around to hold it open.

> 24 hourI bought these for my sons Jeep Liberty and installed them 2 weeks ago. They seem to be working quite well so far. We will see as time goes on.
