Frostgrave Wizards II - Female Wizards

Nice miniature sprues. Using for D&D. A tiny bit smaller scale than Wizkids, but not glaring. Also, they have sensible clothing for adventuring.

Another very neat kit By Osprey and North Star. Lots of playable Xtras, a bounty of bits! Only 8 characters is the single downside, but made up by the options. Frostgrave is a well crafted and written tabletop miniatures game with a spot on balance of Skirmish and RPG play. Recommended. Sproo Town Reviews.

These girls look awesome. There are plenty of options to make almost any kind of wizard you want. The facial features and dress allow the models to be painted for almost any ethnicity. I was able to make a wizard for each school of magic of the Warhammer Fantasy Universe

I really like all of the Frostgrave figures by Northstar Miniatures. First up, they come on 2 identical grey styrene sprues. Theyve very similar to Games Workshop plastic, perhaps a tad softer plastic. (But maybe not... theyre quite good.) The figures come as torsos with legs, with a variety of arms and heads for you to attach with super glue and pose as youd like. This is the strength of this system. The thing that I like the best about them is that they come with a lot of extra arms, heads, weapons, and other stuff that you might use with these figures, or some others from your collection. Theres like 40 heads (20 duplicated on each sprue) for the 8 figures! This is fantastic! You also get 2 cats (same cat), 2 rats (yes, same rat twice), scrolls, daggers, hands holding staves, wands, daggers, a scimitar, magic sword, bell, rune stone, and so on. I should note that they are also interchangeable with the Soldiers 2 (also female) set. Ive been picking up all of the sets so that I have the most ability to make the figures that I want. My favorite so far is probably the Cultists, though theyve all been totally worthwhile.

Don’t even question yourself. Do you play tabletop RPGs? Or Frostgrave? Paint minis? You don’t have enough female minis so buy this set and build eight custom ladies.

These are great for Frostgrave, D&D, Pathfinder, or any 28mm scale gaming. For people who want female gaming miniatures that are wearing real clothes and not chainmail bikinis, this is what youre looking for. I hope Northstar expands their range of female minis.

This set is great. You can make a total of 8 wizards, or 4 wizards and 4 apprentices. Loads of options like weapons, staffs, wands, various heads and arms, and little add-ons like spell books, pouches, familiars, etc. You can make your own custom wizard in no time. Would also work really well with creating a PC or NPC wizard for D&D

Received on time and in perfect condition. The kit itself has an awesome selection of models of throw together.
