This bag is adorable and I think a 6 year old will really enjoy having it. Its a very solid woven material and has three zipper pockets. I like the cross body straps, they are very sturdy and sewn on very well. I was afraid if I bought a purse that she had to carry on her arm, it could be easily lost or snatched. As a 6 year old, she wont have to think about whether she is still holding on to it. I specifically looked for a cross body purse. It is also a good size for a childs purse.

My niece loves this bag. My sister (her mother) talked her into skipping candy for a whole month to save up money for a new bag and she is ecstatic. Very cute and fashionable for a 6 year old.
