I never feel compelled to write reviews but this scanner is fantastic. I bought his after our $10,000 Richoh office printer kept paper jams while scanning documents. Ive used the scansnap it a few dozen times now and Ive only had one paper jam. Awesome product!!

I spend hours sifting through receipts, product leaflets, bills (that I have to keep around for awhile once they have been paid) until I finally found this scanner. What was the biggest surprise was being able to quickly scan old photos at 300 DPI with more ease than I have ever encountered. Everything goes into Evernote, where I can quickly organize and look up anything that I need at a moments notice. Well worth the price tag for the amount of time it has saved me. It is compact and not an eyesore on my desk. I really dont know what I did without this for the amount of paper that comes across my desk.

Love it! Its fast rarely gets stuck and has extremely high-quality scans. I have sold my neat receipt this is a thousand times better.

love it except for one thing... it takes a while to connect to wifi after its timed out or turned on. Once connected, the button works instantly like a charm, but till then, it just blinks at you and youre not sure why.

I bought used one that didn’t come with a software CD. I don’t know if it normally does but mine didn’t. Anyway, the Scansnap Evernote Edition is no longer supported by Fujitsu and unless your computer already has the Evernote program installed or you have an installation CD you will not be able to use it. The download link to the Scansnap Evernote software doesn’t work. There is a way to convert the scanner to a regular ix-500 but you must first have the Evernote program installed to update the firmware. Good luck!

Do Not Buy...you can only scan to evernote...you cannot scan to your desktop and you cannot get support.
