Funko Pop! Movies: Harry Potter - Mad-Eye Moody Figure

The figure is not as flashy as it seems in the photo, but that is not necessarily bad. It is slightly shabby, like the character is tired and weary, so fitting for the Mad-Eye we know. Its best feature is the extentive scarring on the face. It is absolutely Alastor Moody and I think the hair is more appropiate in the lighter colour tone it really is than in the darker one from the photo. The coat looks practical and the cane seems sturdy. Its guarded stance adds to the characters charm. Another great details is the colouring of the boots, they are mismatched. One is silver and the other is brownish-black, compensating for the lack of the wooden leg that was described in the books. The boots look eccentric like that, they are great. The eye is really blue, unrealistic yet very fitting. I feel constantly vigilent when I look at Moody, so yeah, it is a wonderful figure, fidel to the character we know and love.

My daughter will love it its a Christmas present and will go with the rest of her collection.

Arrived in a slightly damaged box, which may be disappointing to In Box collectors. This is the reason for the 4 stars and not 5. The detail on this character is excellent. The left eye really stands out and draws attention. The wand and cane add to this Pop, making him look exactly as he does in the Harry Potter series. This is an all around detailed series, Funko really went above and beyond on this series, paying very close attention to detail. In a better box, easily 5 Stars.
