> 3 dayThey seemed sturdy during installation. The brackets are nice and thick metal and don’t bend when you add pressure. The first one I installed was on a bookcase and it was close enough to the wall that I could feed the wire through the brackets twice and double up the strength. I tested it by pulling the the case a little bit and it seemed like it was going to work well. Then I moved on to the baby changing table and got it installed but because of where I had it attached, I was only able to feed the wire through the brackets once. I gave it a light pull and it instantly popped the wire from the wire clasp, rendering the wire useless. I thought maybe it was just one defective wire so I fed a new wire through and pulled (again very lightly) and it popped the wire from the clasp portion again. I thought maybe I was just being too rough with it until I got a third one out, screwed the end together and pulled on both ends without attaching it to the brackets. I was able to break the clasp from the wire pretty easily with my bare hands, which is a way less tension than the weight of a piece of furniture.

> 3 dayI used these on my two-year-old son’s changing table since he likes to climb it now. He has never pulled the table off its feet, but I was still worried since he sleeps in a toddler bed now and can roam his room at night. Nevertheless, when I went to unfasten the wire so I could get something I dropped behind the table, I noticed that the connection was loose. It turns out that the screw on one end of the wire came completely unsoldered (assuming that’s how they connected those parts)! I attached a photo so you can see the tiny piece that came off the end of the wire. We also used these on our very tall, heavy bookshelves, so now I’m concerned that they won’t work if our child tries to climb those and they tip over. Luckily our son is past the phase of putting everything in his mouth, because the tiny, metal unsoldered piece could have really hurt him if he had found it and swallowed it!

Greater than one weekThreads act like they are engaging, but if you actually pull on it they come apart. I only learned this when moving my sons dresser from one location to another and now need to replace all of these.

Greater than one weekIt does work to secure your furniture, but it damages it. I tried one side with a power drill the other side with a manual screw driver and the wood in this bookshelf split. This was a solid wood delta bookshelf. Disappointing, but it does work. They should have made the screws going into the furniture smaller than what it was. I bought 2 boxes. Going to return the other one. Lesson learned.
