> 3 dayWe’ve had these for about a year and multiple of the zip ties it came with have broken - not from the furniture tipping over (that hasn’t happened) they are just brittle and snap apart. Super unimpressed. We are quite handy people, it’s not an installation problem. We need to replace all of these now. Grr. Just what we want to do with a toddler and a newborn.

> 3 dayI purchased these furniture straps for multiple reasons, with the most important being that I needed something to keep my headboard sitting snugly against the wall. I have an adjustable bed, so I dont have the ability to mount my bedframe to the headboard to keep it stable. Before I installed a couple of these straps, anytime I would raise my adjustable bed, the headboard would fall up against the back of my bed and nearly hit me in the head. And unfortunately, leaning my headboard against the wall was not an option because then it was angled and just didnt look right. Once I installed these straps on either side of my headboard and pulled the zipper strap through both holes, it pulled my headboard back towards the wall and thats where its remained ever since. Since I have all the tools necessary (screwdriver, drill, awl, etc.), it only took about 15 minutes to install them. However, I do HIGHLY recommend you have assistance from another person if you plan to use these to anchor/strap anything heavy to the wall like a headboard, bookcase, hutch, etc.

> 3 dayDefinitely use a ruler to help Mark where you need to drill. Looks a little tacky but impressed that it has a tab to help remove the zip tie if your ever moving. My 2.5 yr old isnt a climber but is curious and we are trying to big girl proof her room a little better for some more independent play.

Greater than one weekI know these are typically used to keep furniture from falling over, bit we used it to attach my 4 year olds chair to the wall so she couldnt move it to climb on top of. it works very well!

> 3 dayHad a tall narrow bookshelf that I attached one of these two. After several months I noticed the bracket mounted to the wall had been severed by the zip tie. Its now got two zip ties and seems to be holding up fine, but im a little doubtful of their durability.

> 3 dayI only had an issue with one book shelf the piece you screw into the book case the screw cracked the wood so I’d be careful when installing. But the rest was easy to install and use the zip ties. The concept is inexpensive and works to hold bookshelves tight and sturdy no wobbling. Zip ties are also reusable so that’s good. Keeps your little kids safe that like crawling and climbing on furniture.
