Galleria Van Gogh Starry Night Auto-Open/Close Large Portable Rain Fold Umbrella

I got this umbrella because my other one that I owned broke due to strong wind. I wanted an umbrella with some personality, so I chose to go with one of my favorite paintings. I love using this umbrella on rainy days and like to show off. :) It is pretty sturdy and a perfect size for one or two people!

The day when my boyfriend and I went into the National Gallery of Arts, we were not in a good mood; it was windy and raining heavily outside.My poor pink little umbrella got broken. I had to go to the ladies room to get my hands warm - thankfully theyve got hand dryers. When I walked out, I saw my boyfriend holding Starry Night umbrella as a replacement for my old broken one. I was thrilled and kissed him the moment I saw the beautiful umbrella. It had been my favorite one ever since. I received lots of compliments like most beautiful umbrella here at Upenn and the one and only. I even prayed for rainy days to show off my precious gift. The umbrella was sturdy and big enough for two of us. Unfortunately, my boyfriend lost it and we couldnt find it anywhere. I thought we had to go to national gallery of arts to buy it again but I was delighted to find amazon has them! Cant wait for my new umbrella to arrive!

This umbrella has such a beautiful design! That is mainly why I purchased it, haha. In terms of quality, the umbrella itself can be a bit flimsy in high winds but it handles rain fairly well. Because its a folding umbrella, I can carry this in my purse with ease :) The only con I have noticed is that the umbrella is very fragile and can/will completely turn inside out in high winds. I would totally recommend purchasing this umbrella, but only if youre expecting low winds.

The umbrella is beautiful. Im interested in longevity - how long it lasts. The last similar umbrella I purchased lasted about two years. Is that a good length of time?? Not sure.

Decent cheap umbrella. I get a lot of compliments on it. After a year the corded handle broke, but thats not a huge deal. I would probably purchase a more heavy duty umbrella in the future. Perfect for light rain strolls in the park.

If I could give it no stars I would. Used it once, and thought it was great. Second time, in pouring rain, I opened it, halfway to my car it popped shut. Tried to open it again and it seems the cord had broken. Im 65. Used a lot of umbrellas. NEVER had this happen. Piece of junk.

I recently ordered this item. It is gorgeous. It is larger than I was expecting but that just means I can fit two people under it should the need ever arise. The pattern is bright and lovely. The only downside is that it is quite heavy, not easily toted around in my purse. Its very much worth what I paid for it.
