Gametown Repair Replacement Button Thumbstick Analog Stick Joystick for PSP 2000 2001 2002 2003

Replacement part came in and when it was installed the psp kept reading as if you were pushing up on the analog even though it wasn’t being touched

Perfect, got to replace the old one with the new one and finally I can play GTA!

Works just like intended. The only thing is to remember to remove the little rubber conductor from your broken thumb stick and add it to the new one or it won’t work properly on the PSP 2000.

This part was successful in replacing a bad analog stick on my psp 2000. It took me a couple tries to get everything setup correct inside the unit but it works now. PROTIP - On the original analog stick you will need to take a small clear rubber part off the old stick and put it into the new one, this makes the contacts correctly input the movement! The part is very small and easy to lose so make sure to take it off the old joy stick and put it onto the new one during the repair.
