> 24 hourEksa EK3000 keyboard review Beautiful, compact, solid, & connectivity galore! Nicely boxed with user manual, in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Chinese. Comes with a nice quality braided USB type-C to type-A cable, with an attached storage holder (see picture) for the nano receiver, as well as a Velcro cable tie. Unfortunately, the nano-receiver storage holder does not hold the receiver very tightly. Mine kept falling out, so I used a short piece of black electrical tape so as not to lose the receiver when not in use. Bottom of keyboard is black plastic, with rubber (very non-skid) feet, height elevator feet (see picture), and has a thick aluminum deck under the keys, and a translucent LED-lit front band under the deck with separate settings for LED lighting colors/patterns. Keys are a beautiful black, grey, and orange color scheme. There are numerous backlight settings. Some are color cycling, some have blink patterns of backlighting, and others are solid, always on colors. All are controlled with function key plus arrow keys, insert, delete, PgUp and PgDn keys. The sellers description page includes a video of the numerous backlight options. You should watch it!! (In my opinion, the backlight control instructions in the user manual are easy enough to follow.) On the right edge, there are 2 switches. One lets you switch between Mac and Windows (Win) compatibility, and the second switch lets you change between USB (corded) and wireless modes. On the left edge, there is a volume slider allowing easy volume control, which worked flawlessly in Windows 11, MacOS Monterey, and Raspberry Pi OS. Noise: This is a clicky sounding keyboard, so if you really *need* silent operation, you will not like it. It is OK for me because I dont have any reason to be stealthy. Amazing connectivity- 3 ways to connect: Keyboard comes with a USB type-C to USB type-A cable, with a clever rubber attached holder for the nano-receiver for 2.4 GHZ wireless connection. Can be connected with USB cable, 2.4 GHZ nano-receiver, or bluetooth. Can connect up to 3 different bluetooth devices, and easily switch between devices with function key + q, w, or e for bluetooth, and function + r for nano-receiver. The q, w, e, and r keys are faintly labeled BT1, BT2, BT3, and 2.4G respectively. This is convenient in case you forget which keys are for wireless control. Compatibility Mac: I connected to my MacBook Pro using the USB cable (wired mode) and the side switch set to Mac, and other side switch set to the USB symbol. I was able to not only type, but even do the PRAM reset key sequence as the MacBook started. The keyboard has the Alt key also labeled (faintly) Command, the Win key labeled as Option, and the Ctrl key labeled as Control (just as on a Mac keyboard). The volume slider works perfectly with the Mac. Next I disconnected the USB cable, switched the side switch to the wireless symbol, and went into the Macs bluetooth settings, and held down the Function key simultaneously with the q key and the MacBook saw it as EKSA EK3000 and I was able to easily connect with bluetooth. Next I plugged the nano-receiver in, disconnected bluetooth, and used the Function + r key combination, and immediately could use the keyboard that way. Compatibility Windows: Windows 11 laptop (ToughBook 55) worked just as well (set edge switch to Win), using the USB cable, the nano-receiver, and bluetooth (connected with Function + w key combination). Compatibility Raspberry Pi 4B: Corded keyboard worked as expected when I started the Pi. With wireless/USB switch set to USB, I tried the Mac setting and the Win setting. Win is the one that worked. Nano receiver did not work until I rebooted, but after reboot (and function + r) worked just fine. Bluetooth (function + e key) did not work until a reboot. Then I had to try 3 times, but it did finally work (Raspberry Pi can be a little finicky with bluetooth). Volume slider worked with all three modes. One thing that you have to remember is that because there are so many connectivity, and OS options available, you need to use the function key combinations, along with the side switches to switch between OSs and computers. Dont get frustrated by needing to use those switches!! This makes this keyboard so extremely versatile!! I have to say that I really love this keyboard!!

> 24 hourIn the box was… 1. One, mechanical keyboard 2. One, set of instructions 3. One, charging cable (USB C to USB A) with usb dongle and holder for the 2.4GHz connection option The packaging is like way nice. The keyboard has a good heft to it. I like the fact it has so many connection options. You can use the dongle over 2.4GHz, Bluetooth, or wired. The keys are comfortable in design. It also has a great No-Conflict design in which you push the FN + Win key and the Win key will be locked out from use so you are not disrupted during gaming. It offers a convenient volume slider on the side. It is very slim as well making this easy to pack. It utilizes red switches which sport a 50 million keystroke lifespan and the keys are solid, they do not feel loose or move when being pressed. It also has RBG light modes with a ton of options! Plus, it is all controlled via the keyboard, so no software needed or extra switches etc. The battery life claims 26hr with lights on in Bluetooth mode and 18 days with lights off. Using 2.4GHz you should see 30hr with lights on and 36 days with lights off. I have not tested this yet but regardless if you carry around a power brick or plug for the wall you will be good to go for much longer. I like this keyboard. It looks awesome, has great options and features, and most importantly is small enough for me to bring with when traveling. I plan on using this with my Samsung tablet and Steam Deck.

> 24 hourThis is a good option if you are looking for a very thin, light, reduced layout mechanical keyboard. The small footprint of this keyboard is great for ergonomics and portability. It is not only a smaller size as far as layout goes, but the low profile means that your fingers will do much less work to press each key. This keyboard uses linear red switches, which means very smooth keystrokes. The keys are also very stable. If the keys are not stable, when you press them, they wobble and it makes typing much less satisfying. They used good stems on the keys to make sure that the keys feel very secure when you press them. The keyboard has RGB backlighting which is controlled using FN combinations. You dont need any additional driver software installed to use the advanced functions of this keyboard. That is great, because that means that there is no need for running drivers that can cause conflicts with other software, or that hog system resources. I have to say, after using several other mechanical keyboards that operate lighting and other features with key combinations, this keyboard has the most sensible combinations I have come across. In addition, everything is labeled on the keycaps so you wont have to worry about remembering every function or having to keep the manual handy. The keyboard itself is made from an aluminum alloy, and comes with a USB-C cable with an attached holder for the 2.4Ghz receiver. I love this design choice as a lot of these wireless mechanical keyboards dont have any good storage to keep the receiver handy when you need it. It also comes with a manual. The keyboard has easy operation...it has a Windows/Mac switch and a wireless, wired switch. You can use the 2.4Ghz receiver or Bluetooth 5.0 to connect the keyboard wirelessly. You switch between wired modes with an FN combination. There is a volume slider on the top of the left side of the keyboard. The slider is not as precise as a volume knob, but it works very well for adjusting volume. This keyboard is super light. It is not plate-mounted, so it is not going to have the extra heft or stability of a plate mount, but it is going to be much lighter for it. Also, the keys will not ping, and will be even quieter. The RGB lighting actually shines through the keycaps on this mechanical keyboard, which is what I prefer for working later. The keycaps feel like ABS, but then that is likely why the lighting can shine through the keycaps. PBT keys feel better but dont work well with RGB backlighting. I love this keyboard. The only real issue I have with it is the price. For what you are getting the price seems a little high. There are some similar layout keyboards that do cost less. That said, I really like this keyboard for my mobile setup. It is so light and works so well that I think it is worth it.

> 24 hourI purchased this for my home office because I wanted a small mechanical keyboard to use with my work laptop and the 4 other screens I connect to it on a crowded desk. Thus far its been great with a couple of minor exceptions. Pros: - Small compared to a standard keyboard, but with large enough keys so as not to be too difficult to get used to. - Metal upper housing feels solid and sturdy and looks nice too. - Soooo many connectivity options. - I love the color scheme for the physical keys, the lighting options and that wraparound light bar on the front edge. Just wish you could control the lightbar colors too. (personal opinion pro) Cons: - Volume slider: The volume slider position doesnt correlate to the volume percentage, especially if the keyboard sleeps and you try (and fail) to change the volume while its sleeping. Itll then be in a totally different position and hitting a key to wake it does not change the volume to correlate with the position of the slider. You have to move it all the way to the bottom and top to reset it to matching the actual volume again. - Key sound: I didnt expect this keyboard to be silent, but it does have a rather loud sound. Maybe because I am just hard on the keys. Its a satisfying keypress, but kind of loud when you are typing fast.

> 24 hourI never knew how good a mechanical keyboard felt until i picked this up. Im not a PC Gamer by any stretch of the imagination. Up until now a keyboard was just utilitarian in nature. The keys feel responsive and snappy and the sound it makes is an auditory pleasure. Note: This is not a keyboard to use when youre laying in bed next to your sleeping significant other. Setup was a breeze. I connected the USB-C Cable to my mac mini and it was instantly recognized. Hold Function (Fn) and either Q,W, or E to assign a bluetooth device, or Function (Fn) R to switch the keyboard to 2.4Ghz mode with the included dongle. Having 4 different wireless profiles allows this keyboard to be used with nearly all your devices. The RGB is a nice touch. The keyboard has plenty of adjustability for brightness, pattern, speed, key cap color, and background color. I dont think ill ever go back to a non backlit non mechanical keyboard ever again. The only gripe i have is the volume slider. its smooth but feel like it has too much travel when adjusting the volume. My Mac will hit 100% volume when the slider is moved quickly to the halfway mark. Not a deal breaker and technically its functional.

> 24 hourThe key actuation is pleasant and there are a lot of great bells and whistles here. The color scheme is bold and there are a lot of options for lighting that are fun but you can also turn the lights off and have a more subdued look. The volume and kvm like function being able to switch between connection allows for 2 device use. Win and Mac switch. Solid buy at this price.

> 24 hourIm surprised by how much I like this keyboard - Im typing this review on it, and its my new favorite. Its compact and solidly made. The switches are stable, so theres no wiggle in the keys like youd see with cheaper keyboards. You can connect it any way possible: bluetooth, 2.4 ghz dongle, or straight USB with the fabric USB cable. If youre into keyboards, youll understand this: its very thocky, although Im likely going to pull the switches and give them a good lube to improve the sound. I really appreciate that they included arrow keys - thats not something you usually see in 65% keyboards. The battery life is outstanding, and it has no problem lasting forever while still running non-stop light displays. Something that isnt really mentioned in the description is there is a sliding volume key on the left side of the keyboard, and Im finding myself using it way more than I would have thought. I hope this was helpful - this is a very solid keyboard that maximizes the 65% frame, and then some.

> 24 hourThe only thing I dislike about the keyboard is the volume rocker. It is really sensitive and have to change very softly to adjust volume. Everything else is fantastic. I can go from my Mac to Ipad in seconds. Beautiful sound when you type, and Slim design perfect to take on the go.

> 24 hourThe Mechanical Keyboard, 65% Low Profile Wireless Gaming Keyboard with Red Switch is a great mechanical keyboard. The feel of the mechanical keys is more satisfying than the newer style flat keyboards. I use a Mac and appreciate there is a simple switch to change between Mac and PC. I dont especially like the orange keys, but I knew what I was getting so no loss of a star.

> 24 hourOriginal 4-star review It feels super great to type on and the lights are super customizable, I have had it only a week and the only downside is that it has already run out of battery once, so the battery life is very disappointing to me. Otherwise I love it and think it is amazing, as my first mechanical keyboard I knew I wanted a low-profile one and this keyboard is great. I use it with the USB Dongle, not bluetooth so I cant say how well the bluetooth works. UPDATE 2/1/2023 - now 5 stars from 4 Battery life takes huge hit if you have the lights on for the keys all of the time. It will practically last forever (at least a month) if you only use the front lightbar, or the keyboard lights at night. So during the day, I leave the keyboard lights off and turn them on once it gets dark. The keyboard battery then lasts a very long time.
