I have been a fan of GAN cubes for a while now. While GAN cubes cost a premium and unlike many others, I first bought the GAN 460M (4x4) first. Intrigued by it’s quality. I went on to purchase the 356i, which is the technologically advanced cube. But I needed a training cube and heard that GAN356X allows magnet customisation and spring tension options. Between July and 12 September 2019, GAN gradually released stock of the crystal blue limited edition GAN 356 X. When I saw it, I jumped at it. I went to GAN cube store but it was already out of stock. My last opportunity was to get it from Amazon, whatever that was left available. This cube arrived and it did not disappoint! It’s smooth, light and beautiful. Being a marvel fan, I feel that the cube look like the Tesseract in my hands. (See the pictures for yourselves). After stickering it, when a light is beamed into the cube, the cube still glows a mysterious blue and sets it apart from my other cubes, GAN or otherwise. I call it the Tesseract cube and it rightfully deserves the name for how it looks. It’s my main cube now and I enjoy solving it.

Love it. Much better than my $13 cube

I will begin by saying I am enjoying this cube. Its fast, the magnets are decent (I like strong magnets, and while these arent as strong as Im used to, theyre good). Overall, it is a good cube! So then, why the three stars? When I received the cube, it was packaged nicely and included a number of things within the box. I was excited to get started cubing with it. I unwrap the cube and immediately start using it. Not a second after I start mixing it do I feel like something is wrong. The plastic is rough, not smooth as I had expected. Inspecting the surface I see LOADS of scratches on almost every face of the cube. I = wouldnt say Im pissed, but considering the amount of money I spent on this cube I am extremely disappointed by the lack of quality on the surface of the cube. Its honestly like someone stored it in a bag of scrap metal, let it bounce around for a day, and then packaged it to be sent off. I was looking forward to this cube, but with the ratio of money-spent to quality, I was very disappointed. I will not be buying a GAN again.

I use to cube back in the 80s. Came across an old one while going through stuff. 4 year old grandson really liked it so ordered a cheap cube. Then ordered a upgraded cheap magnetic cube. The price tag is as bit up there, but I wish I would have just ordered this first. Worth they price. The different magnet and tensioning options alone let you tailor it to your personal preference.

Ditch the old 5 dollar rubiks cube that turns like a rusty bolt and treat yourself to a buttery smooth experience that will leave your head turning for some more. I dont know about you, but I did. And I dont regret it at all.
