Garmin 010-02541-10 fenix 7X Sapphire Solar,Larger adventure smartwatch, Solar Charging Capabilities, rugged outdoor GPS watch, touchscreen, wellness features, Carbon Gray DLC Titanium with Black Band

This is my sixth garmin fenix watch, and the flashlight has been highly valuable. The touchscreen has been surprisingly useful, particularly in maps, but even in mundane activities like accessing greater detail after long pressing one of the data fields on the watch face. Main disappointment: there is a slight decrease in display contrast due to the glass (power glass) compared with my prior fenix 6X sapphire (no solar). Ive gotten used to it, but that is the only downside Ive encountered...and for my uses, I would have preferred a solar-free sapphire edition, but that was not an option.

I recommend the forerunner 955 instead. This is certainly a more upscale watch in terms of physical look and material, but makes it difficult to wear because of its size and weight. The forerunner series seems to have nearly the same features in a more comfortable fit. Check both out if unsure.

i have had a fenix 3, 5x and now the 7x ss. this watch is AWESOME. the features do not cover all the upgrades including battery life. while a battery does get worse over time, after like 3 or so years on my 5x, the battery lasted 2 days (i work out a lot...at least twice a day). the 7x ss lasts days and days at the same work out pace. i loved my 5x....A LOT but this is a significant improvement.

This is my first smart watch, so Im assuming the small issues I have with it are user error, and not actually something wrong with the watch.

1. Almost instantly detected Vo2 with no extra work

Still working on using all the features but really happy with the watch 1 month in.

I have been user of Fenix for a long time, and definitelly Fenix 7x has improved a lot a many different aspects, tactil screen, battery, precision, less weight, easy to use, etc. please continue in this direction

Love this watch. Have had a few in the bars, most recently the tactix bravo. I won’t wear any of my other watches now. This has everything I have been looking for. Rolexes, Omegas, G shocks, Luminoxes, Seikos, Apple Watches 5+6+7…all in the safe. I picked up a leather band to change it up from time to time. Thought of getting the Epix, but the solar is just too good to pass up. Haven’t had to charge it in weeks. Use GPS about 1hr per day as well. Notifications with the iPhone are spot on. Nothing whatsoever to complain about. 10/10 easily.
