Greater than one weekI just got this carabiner clip for my Sport Pro e-collar system. The clip attaches to the hand device nicely, and is very secure. However, the belt clip portion of this accessory is absolutely worthless. The clip is so tight, and has inter-locking prongs, that completely prevent a belt or even webbing from sliding under the clip. I have to pry the clip open to the point it feels like the clip is about to break. None of my leather or heavy webbing belts will fit under the clip. The carabiner is great, and will make the device much more accessible and secure in the field, but I cant use the clip on a belt or any webbing on my bags.

> 3 dayWorks very well. Does not easily come off of the garmin. Keeps my 64s close at hand on my pack shoulder strap. I do not mind having to remove it to view the gps as a gps should only be used when needed. The placement is good, in an emergency situation it is perfectly placed at the pack shoulder strap. Similar to a morikniva which has a button hole for the jacket chest button. In an emergency you are likely to end up with your hands close in, a good example is in a bear attack, Kodiak guides will keep a knife on their chest. Similarly if you were to become injured it is much easier to access a gps attached to your chest than one on your hip or buried in your pack. The only aspect that I do not like is that the unit is highly visible and anyone who sees it will know that you’re carrying high end gear, not that there are many thieves roaming the wilderness but you never know. Overall I like this better than the other options and I’ve found it to be the most secure offering by garmin. Highly recommend.

10-06-2025Having my remote clipped on my jacket/ vest is a game changer. The only complaint I have is you have to take it off to charge the remote... which is a down right pain. I found similar complaints and, like them, I used a dremel and drilled off the part blocking the port.

Greater than one weekReally like easy to clip on hunting vest. Trimmed bottom edge of clip that attaches to control to allow recharging without removing clip.

> 3 dayGood quality, over priced, too much packaging. Purchased this for my Garmin Sport Pro to hang from my belt or vest but it hangs right side up, it should hang with the antenna facing the ground. With the antenna facing the ground you would see the controls in the correct position.
