I have been using the 830 now for about 6 months now. Love the little computer and all it functions. No complaints. Would purchase again! I use it for my road bike and Mountain bike.

This is my goto and I use it on all my bikes. I have had no problems and tracking has been excellent. I havent even gotten to all the features yet.

My second 830. First cracked after accidentally dropping it, hence the rubber protector this time. Great computer, so so Garmin software. I like that I can use the 830 to monitor my Radar, drivetrain batteries, and even my inReach.

Has met my expectations. Time will tell in regards to battery life and accuracy. So far so good.

I’ve been a Garmin fan for quite some time. It does take a bit of getting used to. Syncing and loading routes can be challenging. Like anytime though after a while it becomes second nature. Be aware, you must use the Garmin app from your phone. You can download routes from Strava to the Garmin which was my reason for my purchase. Well worth the investment, if by chance a smaller screen causes difficulties, I would recommend the Garmin with the larger screen.

I got this to display maps during my rides, especially mount biking. I played with all the settings, including downloading some trail maps, at home. Unfortunately, I realized while playing with the maps, that the display was just too small and illegible for me to read without reading glasses, and therefore was going to be useless while out riding the trails. If ones interest is more in the metrics than the maps, this would be fine since the metrics are clearly visible, even for me.
