If you are considering purchasing this watch you should take a piece of paper and write down pros and cons. If done properly the exercise should result in objective value one places on the features of this watch. It delivers exactly what it states. It is purpose built and the key feature is battery life which is as advertised. Using this watch as primarily an entertainment device will undoubtedly result in disappointment once the novelty wears off. One should also consider the size and corresponding impact on the wardrobe. For example, wearing tailored button down long sleeve shirt will likely result in an unbuttoned cuff...

The first watch I got had a peeling band so I returned it and bought another. I put the old watch in an Amazon lockbox and it has been two months and the people at Amazon customer service are refusing to give me the $1090 I payed for the first one. In all fairness the second watch has been amazing

I love it!!! I bought my first fitness/smart watch month ago and it was Apple Ultra. I always hold off the apple watch bc they dont look like a watch.. more like a tamagotchi! Im a watch guy. With Apple Watch ultras I realized Apple will most likely never make round watch so I got one thinking I get use to it. Unfortunately I didnt. I just hate how they look. So I was looking for replacement and ended up with the Garmin since my sister has one for years.

Go for it if you are considering Fenix 7x. It has everything what Fenix 7x + some more. I switched from Fenix 3HR which was serving for last couple of years. Its the same size as Fenix3HR but has tons of latest technology and battery lasts very long time (I have it for little bit over a week and using all sensors for workouts) and it still shows me 12 days of battery life. Im supper happy with purchase. I hope it will as durable as Fenix3HR or better.

I love the new features of this watch like touchscreen, music player, color screen, map features, multi sport mode, flashlight, and the nylon strip. This watch has a lot of features that I haven’t used yet but will utilize when I get use too the watch. Highly recommended.

Over the years, I have owned and used several different Garmin watches. They are amazing devices. I have had some issues with the earlier Fenix Watches (3 and 5). About 3 years ago, I settled on the Garmin Instinct and have used it every single day. It truly has been a fantastic watch and the second version seems to be great as well. Ive always loved all of the features of the Fenix watches but some of the early version had altitude measurement issues and other drawbacks for me. I have been wanting to upgrade for a while and so far, I am really glad I waited. I have only had the Enduro 2 for a few days but I am loving it so far (and will update this review with more hands-on experience).

This is my fifth Garmin watch, incremental disappointments for years. Now they have it right!

My Fenix 5x Plus had a temperature sensor built into it to tell me the hot springs and our outdoor temperature, but I am not finding this on the Enduro. Everything else is as good or better, especially the battery! Love it!

If youre an iPhone user that relies on Apple Health, Apple Fitness, or other third party iOS apps to track and analyze your activity, beware that Garmin Connect does not reliably share your activity data to other iOS apps. For example, if you use Apple Fitness to count steps, and close your circles, activity from your Garmin device will not transfer over consistently and your circles will not close. Or, if you use an app like HealthFit to track routes and other activity data, Garmin Connect does not share routes/GPS data to other third party apps, and heart rate is often differs from the values reported on Garmin Connect.
