    Greater than one week

    Best watch in the world

This watch truly does it all, and it has been a lifesaver for me--probably in a literal sense. Its comfortable and it looks great, especially with customizable watch faces. Battery life is superb. Super easy to use, and they seem to have thought of everything (example: turning off touch screen while youre recording an exercise activity but still allowing scrolling/functionality with intuitive button presses). The data collected are really helpful, especially if you sync them with Strava (subscription costs extra). I bought the HRM-one heart rate monitor to pair with it and it works very well. I had been concerned about the accuracy of the watchs HRM readings, but it turns out they were mostly pretty dead on. With the strap I also get all sorts of useful info about my gait efficiency. I really want to give this 5 stars.

Best watch Ive ever owned. I owned the garmin fenix 3 and the garmin 935. This watch blows them out of the water. No regrets.

There are many reasons why Fenix 7 and Enduro 2 are great devices. Quality is not on the list.

My last Garmin watch was the Fenix 5S. I had it for 8 years but the HR monitor started to not track consistently. That’s why I bought this model. This new model is touchscreen, tracks sleep, pulse, and even HRV (which I need). Love it so much!! Also stays charged for days..

Not too easy to start and stop activities. Not able to zoom in on maps. The battery last an unusually long time this is great. As for the GPS, well not very accurate as far as I can tell. I got storm warnings when there was no storm while camping at 9500 feet. And no warning when a storm came the next day. I ended up getting caught in a down pour. I am not too pleased. the sleep monitor is very helpful and is a good tool .

Accuracy and motoring is good. But battery life not that good (compared to Huawei watches).

I have owned most garmin watch models produced over the last 20 years and I really appreciate how garmin continues to provide great technology in their products and continues to advance the designs with valuable upgrades. My latest upgrade was from a 6 sapphire to the fenix 7X sapphire solar. As most reviewers have mentioned the battery life is amazing. There are some great upgrades compared to the fenix 6 with the exception of solar charging. It seems to contribute little to the overall battery life while the solar charging ring around the outside face of the watch takes up valuable real estate that could be used for larger numbers, etc on the watch display. As a result I would not get the solar charging if I could do it over again. Overall I’m very impressed with the 7XSS and pleased with this purchase.

Ignore the flashy technology; Garmin missed the mark with basics. After swimming in a pool, the buttons stop functioning. Sometimes the buttons stop functioning mid-swim. Most often its the back/lap button that stops functioning, rendering any form of lapped workout impossible. On multiple occasions the screen scrolls uncontrollably on its own after swimming as well, which could also be a stuck button issue. Garmin says to rinse the watch buttons with fresh water after every swim, and to soak the watch in soapy water if the buttons stop functioning. Neither of those actions should be necessary for a multi-sport watch, let alone one that costs $700+. Soaking works sometimes. Garmin replaced my first watch, and I quickly experienced the same issues with the second. My 3rd watch is on its way, but I have no confidence this one will work any better. Credit to Garmin for replacing the device while under warranty, but after that expires, Im out of luck. They also offered me an upgrade to the Solar version; however, that likely doesnt solve the problem since the button design is the same. The Garmin rep. I spoke with would not confirm or deny if they found any design or manufacturing issues, or if the upgraded Solar version is manufactured in a different factory than the standard version. Reading tech blogs, it seems that Im not the only one having these problems. Its frustrating that Garmin would not acknowledge a widespread issue. I wont trust this watch in a multisport race this year, especially coming out of the swim in a triathlon. The battery on my first device was incredible, but the battery life on my 2nd device was significantly lower and experienced huge drops even when not using GPS. I didnt even address this with Garmin since the buttons werent working anyway.
