Bought this second one for using at home. I use power and ground. Im still trying to learn how to save and upload tracks with the newest Garmin menu driven system. I liked the old systems better.

Im not able to say whether or not this item works. We wanted a product that was compatible with the Garmin echomap chirp 54CV and this is what we got. It doesnt fit. This cable is a 6 prong and we need a 4 prong.
