Better than buying a new gps and good to have a backup

My original mount power port was starting to be a problem (as in not working) so I tried this new mount as a way to see if it was the mount or the GPS unit. Thankfully it was just the original mount and everything is working perfectly now.

The suction cup doesnt hold well and you cant use it with other Garmin mounts. I have a charged Nuvi, but cant use it while driving.

My husband relies on his Garmin, heavily, to find locations that he is trucking to/from as a heavy hauler. He’s had his for years and a replacement suction mount was imperative. It works great and he’s back in business.
