Garmin Zumo Motorcycle GPS Power Cable

the only downside , is that it has to be hard wired . if you have more than 1 motorbike you need a cable for each bike and have to disassemble the mount to remove the mount from the power lead

Das Garmin Power Cable für mein Zumo 350 LM funktioniert und das ist die Hauptsache, die Kabellänge ist auch ausreichend.

Dopo aver reso il primo cavo non funzionante, ne ho ordinato subito un altro e devo dire che entrambi i prodotti sono identici in tutto e per tutto.

The Garmin 350 now comes with just a plastic cradle and the separate power cable. Unlike my previous 550, where the cradle had some electronics in it - which wasnt good if moisture got inside (which it did). So although with the 350, they have taken out all electronics from the cradle, they have had to put a step down power converter inline to the power cable (thats the little black box near the fuse to step the voltage down from 12V to 5V - it is slightly smaller than a matchbox). This then inflates the price of the power cable. I have no idea why they couldnt put the step down voltage electronics inside the GPS it self (unless they expect these components to fail at some stage).

This is the third cable I have bought.. these cables last approx 1 year and have to be replaced as they do not last due to vibration of bike,weather and poor design.
