Works. Replaced kitchen and dining room lights. It provides white light. Good for main lighting. For all purpose area. NOT a warm color. If you are looking for something to provide warm, intimate, calming light, go for another temperature. This one is pretty calm working light.

This bulb is daylight color, very blue white like ultra brite fluorescent lighting. Cold. It’s my fault being I’ve not bought LED and I didn’t know how blue white brite daylight would be. I also bought 40 watt bulbs that I opened and trued. I didn’t want the yellow cast if a soft white bulb or incandescent and since government has made bulb manufactures change to LED it’s hard to know how to get back to the natural light of the former Reveal light bulbs.

I have been using these to replace my current CF bulbs and I am very pleased with the results! Buying more. Great product.

the bulbs meet my requirements and it was certainly easier to order on line. I did become concerned when I received just the bulbs in the very thin box they were packed it at the plant. Sso far the ones I have used are just fine.

Imagine buying an LED bulb that lasts for more than a year? Ive tried pretty much every single brand of LED bulb in the last 8 years and, the only ones that havent failed yet are the GEs (not a single failure). Cant say that about any other company.

Last year I went through a medical crisis and for the first time in all the years Ive lived in my apartment, it just felt like I was in a pitch black hole. The dark days of winter never seemed to offer enough light and suddenly, my apartment didnt either. Im also getting older and grew tired of not being able to see as well as I should. It was time to replace my standard lightbulbs. If you have standard lightbulbs in your fixtures, they are size A19 and these bulbs are compatible. They use much less wattage than standard lightbulbs or CFLs and they lower your electric bill. I kept reading about a blue tint that comes from these LED bulbs and it made me nervous. I need the light for reading and working at my desk and didnt want blue light. It turned out to be very misleading. These look like the light you would get from daylight. Thats all you need to know. The moment I put one of these in and turned the lights on I was very pleased. Everything is not necessarily brighter but just lit better. Its more attractive than yellowish soft white lightbulbs. These give a room a small inexpensive makeover. The days have already turned dark and Ive been dreading the change of season but I think these bulbs will help a great deal. I can already see so much better. I highly recommend these and will be buying more.
