Good generic LED replacement for incandescent bulbs

These are an incredible cost effective value....they last forever in almost all uses, they are really environmentally great, and save big time on electricity....Im gradually replacing every lightbulb in the house with these and at this price I can easily afford to...I cant speak highly enough about these bulbs.

I have most of my house outfitted with these and this is a pretty good deal. Brighter than the 40w they replaced and they use less power. 2 thumbs up.

Absolutely a Best Buy. Put in ceiling fans light sockets (2 fan and 4 bulbs in each) to brighten up family area. My wife and daughter see and quilt and these LEDs really lit up the room. Wow! Recommend these bulbs.

I installed the 1st bulb in a vent hood over my kitchen stove. This light is on 24/7/365. it worked and gave the amount of illumination expected. I wont know more about this bulb for a year or two. The previous bulb lasted close to 2 years well over the 10K hours advertised. I cant rate an LED bulb until I have had it in service for a considerable time. I cant rate value until I know how well it lasts. I bought this bulb because the one I replaced is no longer made.

short lifespan, some never work

Bought the 8 pack and 2 bulbs have already failed within 6 months. They start intermittently flashing like a strobe light. GE warranty service requires you to email your receipt and the defective bulb to a service center for replacement. There is no phone number to call to process a claim...no, you have to ship the bulb to them. It will cost you more to ship the defective bulb for replacement that it will to just buy a new one. I will NEVER buy a GE LED bulb again.
