The color and brightness was perfect for our hallway. Not glaring or blue.

All of these lightbulbs are supposed to last for so long and tens of thousands of hours, and you would think from GE that you would get a better product. Installed these lights 12/2020 & 3 out of 4 died within days of each other in July 2022. Not even 2 years.

I specifically purchased these bulbs for 2700 K and that spec was not listed on the box so it concern me I didnt get what I wanted. Also the size was larger than the other 2700 K bulbs I bought so another indicator wrong kelvin

I love the brightness and warmth of these lights. However, at times they blink subtly. The light doesn’t turn off but dims very briefly and brightens up again just enough to notice. At first I thought a reflection came through the window but no, the lights blink from time to time. It is very annoying. They would be perfect lights if not for this defect.

I was replacing Philips R30 bulbs in my ceiling fixtures since one of them burned out. I bought a full replacement set of these GE R30 bulbs because of the GE name and so I wouldnt have any variation in light from one bulb to the next. Sadly, I had to return these bulbs. The shape and length of the GE bulb is slightly different from the Philips, and they would not screw into my fixtures. No fault of the bulbs, and I am glad they were returnable.

I usually use 65 watt BR30 flood incandescent lights. But they are getting hard to find and last purchase of Sylvania bulbs make an awful high pitched noise when dimmed. These LED bulbs dim well and maintain their color much better than incandescents when dimmed. So far so good!
