This surge protector would not work with charging system on my 2023 Thor Tellaro camper van. Reached out to GearGo support and NO response. Had to return to Amazon.

This is a must have, lots of parks have substandard hookups. This will analyze the circuit you connect to and provide the user with valuable information before hooking your expensive RV to the power supply. Always, I mean always, hook this surge protector to the power supply before attaching your 30amp RV plug to it. Save the electrical system on your RV, protect your investment with surge protection and power supply analysis.

Even though I have not used this product yet I have great confidence that it will work, due to others reviews. As you can see in photo it is well packaged in box that will make it handy to stow away until needed perfect for me as I live and travel full-time in my rv.

simple to use, easy lights, easy to store when not in use

Product was easy to install and worked as specified. It does not provide complete protection because the enclosure was not of adequate size. Decided to use the product, at least to protect the electrical components, until a more appropriate one is obtained.

It isnt RV season for me but I keep my RV plugged in year round. I have had this on my unit and it works great. I will update review as I start RV season in the spring.

Love the clear rain cover. Allows easy checking when plugging in. Handle on plug allows for easy removal. High joule rating helps me rest assured that my rv is protected.

Just bought a camper, and converted a 30a garage outlet to a RV style receptacle. Needed a surge protector anyway, but really wanted to make sure my new receptacle was ready for use. Got the green lights for safe use and plugged it all up. Needed 2 extension cords to reach my camper plug, but nothing got hot or operated unsafely. In fact, they werent even warm to the touch, so power flows through the surge protector in a safe manner. Good buy, especially with early overnight shipping since I needed it ASAP.
