It is thick enough to carry the signal well but it is still flexible enough to route anywhere. Dont get fooled by expensive cable claims. Pure gold wire would be better but there really is a point of diminishing returns when it comes to speaker cable, isnt there. I got two rolls to wire my home theater system and I am glad I did. The first roll went quicker than I imagined. I still have some left over but I can use it on another project I have planned. It works for me but I am no speaker cable snob and I dont have money to burn. If this sounds like you too then try it today.

Nice wire for speakers.

It rolls off the spool just fine. The copper wire conducts electricity and the insulation keeps the wire from shorting to each other. Now the speakers make noise when I turn on the AV receiver. I dont know how I could have lived with out speaker wire for so long. Buy some yourself and see.

This speaker wire is a fantastic value. I immediately made 2 -10ft cables when I received it and found it easy to strip and work with. The wires have a quality feel, they arent gummy/sticky feeling like some of the cheaper speaker wire can be. They also arent stuff and are very maneuverable, which makes cable management much better! The colors are nice and subtle but make it easy to identify which side is which. Iike the fact that they are semi transparent as it does a better job blending in and vanishing behind my speakers. Im using this wire to connect Micca RB42s to a SMSL SA300 amp and so far everything works flawlessly. No hiss and no static to be heard! Will definitely buy this again!

Since I have to have visible wiring, aesthetics were my biggest concern. This cable does not look like the images at all. The transluscent black is really just clear and there is black and white dotmatrix printing along the entire spool.
