I received this product and immediately after opening the box the smell was very strong and apparent. I am not sure what chemicals they use on this product but i’m not going to put my kid in a car seat with a product that smells AWFUL and clearly is full of chemicals

This has been an amazing addition to our mission to keep our son comfortable in the car seat during TX summers! With no vents in our back seat, he doesn’t get AC. We have a Noggle, but it’s not enough to keep up. Putting this in the seat while we’re playing at the park, etc. means his seat will be cool (sometimes even cold) when we return. We’ve only used it for 2-3 hours at a time, and it’s still been very cold and frozen. I’m impressed!

I ordered two to see if the first one was defective but they are just generally damp. I’m not sure if the fabric would dry out with time, I saw it did for some but it grossed me out to use on my 4 month old. It smelled damp and it was just not worth the risk for me. I got the one with leafs and it is very pretty and big enough even for an older baby or toddler I just couldn’t get past the dampness if it. Both I ordered were damp and smelled.

I love this product. It’s comfortable for our baby and normally her back will be sweaty after a 20 min stroller ride around the neighborhood. But I’ve noticed her back hasn’t been sweaty at all using this. It probably won’t keep her cool all day but works for a few hours. I haven’t tried putting it in the fridge for 3 min before use, I’m sure that would help too. I’d recommend this item.

It’s a little heavy. My biggest problem is having to literally take apart the car seat straps to loop then through and honestly who even has time to do that?! I’m trying to save time now make more steps to get out the door. In theory this was great but the hassle just isn’t worth it to me! I’m thinking of investing in a noggle instead and calling it a day!

Worked well in hot Florida at Disney. Helped to keep babies cooler especially considering the stroller is black. Only thing I didn’t like was how bad they smelled when I got them. Left them outside a couple days and sprayed a fabric freshener on them a couple times and it was all good.

Perfect for those hot days! You can toss in the fridge for up to five min, but you don’t have to. I usually toss in the fridge, set in car seat when I start the car and it helps cool the seat down faster
