These are awesome but considering that a toothbrush head needs to be replaced every couple of months this is enough for years. Too many in one pack.

When my Oral-B Braun toothbrush failed of old age, I bought a generic drug store replacement -- mostly because the Braun used a Ni-Cad battery which is inferior to the lithium battery in the one I bought to replace it. I still had two Oral-B brushes. They werent a perfect fit on the new unit, but they worked. Each lasted as long as the advertised three months, as they had with the Oral-B unit. When I was done with those, the brushes that came with the third party unit each lasted only 2-3 weeks before the brush stopped oscillating. The unit kept running, but the brushes werent moving. One would have the impression that the brush was doing its job. It would take a discerning technician to notice that it wasnt because the unit kept vibrating. I only investigated after my teeth started to feel like they hadnt been properly cleaned. The generic brushes had plastic drive parts (I know because I took one apart when it failed.) If you have a generic model, run it lightly on a fingertip. If the slightest pressure stops the brush, it has failed. Throw it out. The experience made me doubly loyal to the original Oral-B brushes. They cost more, but in my experience they are reliable.

The Oral - B Precision Clean replacement toothbrushes fit well and work well in our old and new Oral-B Pro 1000 electric toothbrush. They are an OK value if purchased in the 8+2 pack at a reasonable price. The current cost is approximately $3.00 each in the 10 pack ($29.92). Personally, I believe that these and other brand replacement toothbrushes are more costly than they need to be. They probably provide an exceptional profit for those who manufacture and sell them. However, isnt this the case with many similar and non-similar devices? You buy the device, and then things needed for its functioning are costlier than one would think to be necessary. These brushes (made in Germany, as is the toothbrush) fit well and work effectively. This is why I provided a rating of 4 stars. Had the additional 2 brush heads not been included within the purchase price, I would have reduced the rating by one star based on a cost that would have seemingly been too high/inflated. If there would be a 12 or more pack at the current cost which I paid, then I would have provided a 5-star rating, because that pack would represent a good deal. Lagniappe: I live in a US state which has a lower cost of living, therefore what I deem to be higher in cost might not be considered such by someone who lives in a state with a higher wage/higher cost of living.

I loved that they are the perfect fit for my Oral B toothbrush barrel , they came individually wrapped and sealed and the delivery service was excellent!
