Gerber Baby Girls Infant Toddler 4 Pack Potty Training Pants and Underwear

We looked all over the stores for 18 month old underwear for our twins that were potty trained at 18 months, no luck as they start at 2 yr olds. So thankful we found these Gerber training pants! These fit great on our 18 month olds fitting into 18 month old clothes. These do not hold a lot of urine but do held protect against major accidents that might happen... There is a thicker liner on the bottom of each pair that help keep little ones drier but to let them know they have gone. These are not as thin as regular toddler underwear.

This is mostly a review in terms of fit-- I keep seeing all these reviews about these running large, and that is probably true if your child is slim to average. However, I have what I refer to as a viking toddler. She just turned 2 and is about 3 feet tall and ~30 lbs. She is not one of the toddlers who has slimmed out and has very chunky thighs and bottom. A lot of 2T and 3T leggings are skin tight on her, and 2T leggings are halfway down her rear end. If this describes your child, these training pants will probably fit perfectly. I have size these in size 3T and the leg holes fit her snuggly and there is enough fabric to cover her entire ample rear end. They basically fit perfectly. These are great for small accidents. If I remind her frequently, my daughter goes to the toilet and mostly remains dry throughout the day, but occasionally has little sprinkle type accidents. These would not contain a full pee, since they are basically normal cotton underwear but with a padded crotch.

I bought Gerber training underwear 10 years ago for my boys—still have them—and they worked (still work) great. I bought this 4-pack for my little girl. I am not disappointed! She’s an average size 22 month old and the 2T size fit her well. They are thick and absorbent, so a full accident does not make such a mess. I am also noticing that partial accidents are not getting her pants wet, and I only have to change her underwear. I am so glad that I bought these instead of the cute potty training underwear available on Amazon. This is my fourth child I have potty trained using Gerber underwear, and I recommend this brand.

These are cute. They dont completely contain accidents but they minimize them because of the extra padding. Im glad they dont contain completely because when my daughter has pee running down her leg it makes her want to run to the toilet because shes uncomfortable. Thats pretty much what you want to make them go on their own. Only issue is the leg holes are too snug on her thighs but fine in the waist, butt, and crotch area.

My daughter is 21 lbs at 19 months old and she wears for some of the day as she is interested in toileting. I believe the size range (for 18 months size) says it starts at 24 lbs but these still fit her and arent too baggy. Easy to pull on and off but do not fall off. We had the 2T size on hand from our sons and those were too large for her at this time. The training pants are soft and seem comfortable. They do not catch much urine, just good for a few drips if the child starts to go but then can stop themselves. I like the cotton for the air circulation after she has been in a diaper overnight, its nice to let her wear these in the morning.

I recommend them, they are great for sensitive skin.

4 stars because they are larger. I have a daughter who is 3 year old & weighs 30lbs. I purchased the 2t after reading reviews so I am glad I did! They seem like regular panties which is why I got them. They hold up nicely and these are for a child who I would say already has potty training pretty much mastered otherwise you probably will have a mess, These have an awesome purpose for some families just please understand what your getting. They DO prevent leaks on my daughter when she has an accident because it makes her wake up which is nice for us! Im a real mom this is my real review I don believe that amazon should allow fake reviews!

At first I was skeptical about buying these because my daughter is barely 20 pounds at 20 months. Its hard to find training pants to fit a child her size for cheap. The 18 month size say the minimum weight is 24 pounds, but I thought Id give them a try anyways. Once I washed them they shrunk (since they are 100% cotton) and they fit her pretty well. Still some room to grow in the waist, but they fit the legs, which I think is the most important part. I would say my daughter has average sized legs, not skinny, but not chunky. They are very soft and Have an absorbent strip in the middle that works great to contain accidents. My daughter doesnt pee a whole lot at once, so I cant say how big of an accident they will contain. But I dont trust her yet to wear only this for bedtime or naptime. But they are amazing during the day. They were a great price as well. Overall we are very happy with them! And we are NOT buying another brand!

My little one is 26 months old. Shes not chunky or skinny, she is solid and mucular. She wears a 3t and as per her measurments she would wear a 2T, but knowing that she truly fits a 3T I ordered that size. After one hot wash and hot dry, since they are undies and I personally like to sanitize before wearing, they fit her like a dream. There is a little room for growth so these will last her a while. The legs are snug but not tight, again she is not super chunky. I find this a good thing since it helps secure messes. The padding is nice and thick and covers a large portion of the undies so you get lots of soaking area. They do go up kind of high, sort of Erkle Style (if you know the reference to the character from the TV show) but I find that just fine and she isnt bothered one bit by the fit. They dont ride up like the regular panties while shes running and playing. I love the simple colors since it helps sell the idea of pretty, special, new. And its nice to have just the simple dots and colors.
