Greater than one weekThese are one of the few training underwear that are nicely padded for extra absorption for accidents. However, when opening these from the package they had an AWFUL chemical smell! I couldn’t even let them sit on the counter until I washed them my whole room smelled! With a wash they were fine, but still the smell was awful and I can’t help but wonder what from.

> 3 dayIm writing this review purely because I want to endorse previous reviewers size warnings. My 22 month old is about 23 pounds and 33 inches tall, so shes pretty lean. I read reviewers confirming a perfect size for their kids (around the same stats) in the 18M size and this worked perfectly. They are incredibly soft (I wish I had some hahahaha...) and the fit is so unbelievably comfortable. Like a comfy soft cozy boy-cut short. The rise isnt too high, the elastic is soft and not scrunchy or tight. The elastic itself is wide as pictured but it is very forgiving and soft, not restraining. Leg openings are comfortable and the binding is still soft as a cloud! Bought 2 packages of these for potty training for nights/naps and I couldnt be happier!

Greater than one weekThis is mostly a review in terms of fit-- I keep seeing all these reviews about these running large, and that is probably true if your child is slim to average. However, I have what I refer to as a viking toddler. She just turned 2 and is about 3 feet tall and ~30 lbs. She is not one of the toddlers who has slimmed out and has very chunky thighs and bottom. A lot of 2T and 3T leggings are skin tight on her, and 2T leggings are halfway down her rear end. If this describes your child, these training pants will probably fit perfectly. I have size these in size 3T and the leg holes fit her snuggly and there is enough fabric to cover her entire ample rear end. They basically fit perfectly. These are great for small accidents. If I remind her frequently, my daughter goes to the toilet and mostly remains dry throughout the day, but occasionally has little sprinkle type accidents. These would not contain a full pee, since they are basically normal cotton underwear but with a padded crotch.

> 3 dayPerfect for 18m they are not too tight on the legs (problem I found with other brands) so they quite comfortable and easier for her to pull up for her than other brands. Great for outings and day care so even if she has a pre-pee she can make it to toilet without showing she had a small accident and only needs a change of underwear rather than all clothing. One but is a quality as some threads started to let go after few washings but only in one place so it was easy to fix. Still would rather use those die to comfort and ease of use rather than top quality overpriced and uncomfortable ones.

19-11-2024I have a tiny girl that decided she wanted panties so I was on the hunt for some training pants that would fit. These did fit better than the 2T size but really are maybe an inch smaller all around. They did stay up if she was running around with no pants where the 2T would slip down after a few minutes. They were loose enough that she could get then up and down again on her own. They arent the most absorbent but they worked fine for us as a transition from diapers to big girl panties. I think the best part about the thick middle is that it looked really uncomfortable when wet (almost squishy) so she had an immediate lesson if she had a accident. We didnt do pull-ups as a training aide, we use them for sleep but we went straight from diapers to these and dealt with the accidents. She trained rather quickly and we are grateful.

> 3 dayI bought these and a pack of Lamaze training pants in size 18 months at the same time. The Gerbers work well for their purpose, but the Lamaze are a little more forgiving for accidents, softer to the touch, and slightly bigger in the waist. I like the Gerbers well enough for their purpose, but I wouldn’t expect too much of them for holding liquids. They are not diapers, they are much closer to standard underwear, and really aren’t meant to absorb much. But they are handy for potty training toddlers with tiny waists as long as you understand the training pants purpose and have realistic expectations for these slightly thicker underwear.

20-11-2024Best underwear for potty training/newly potty trained littles! So much easier to pull these up and down than the thin cotton ones. The thicker absorbent core is helpful to soak some of the mess of accidents, and when accidents are no longer an issue, it still gives me a bit more peace of mind knowing she has slight protection if needed. We call them her soft & cozy undies. Also, I found sizing was just right. I was torn between 2T and 3T, I got the 3T and its slightly loose/baggy but not enough to fall down, they are comfortable for her, glad I went with the bigger size. One complaint is I wish they would make them tagless!

> 3 daySuper cute and better than pull ups. Othan than you cant just throw them away after one use. My daughter showed no interest in potty training so I bought these. They fit perfect and she seems to be showing more intereste.
